They are very good creatures, but weak as shotters. Eventhough they have the Death Cloud, nothing can hide them from attackers that will block their range. They are just too large.

I voted for the djins because I felt sad for them...
And, well, they have their uses, if they're used correctly. They can never hold out in long battles, though. But they can do wonders in creeping. Just use the gargoyles as fodders for the retaliation, and then attack with the djinns. with an hp and initiative arty, they can buff a stack often twice before actually getting engaged in combat with neutrals.

But the best? The unicorn and Nightmares share a place, I think, with both great initiative, and good abilities.

The Archlich is a nice shooter, but his size is indeed his weakest point. They can be blocked from large creature pretty easily though, along with your skellies, with the wraith and the zombie. And with the expansion, you get another melee option. Might be worth a try, no?

Life will never be the same again I really hope the new meele Lich will have a better weapon than the tiny knife, but if it can cast Rise Dead it may be overpowered. Imagine both Liches and necromancer raise skellies again and again. But the Liches wont have enough mana to use it more than once ore twize I guess.

I agree, their spells aren't very storng, but have very useful tactical uses with Fortress's army.
You can protect your army with Fire Wall that only Fire Dragon (fire immunity) and Warlord (teleporter) can pass, and use Rune of Rune of Elemental Immunity on any other creature you want it to move through, and that's very useful.
Deflect Missile is always useful, especially went you cast it on creatures like the Berserker.

Well, usually I have light magic with mass deflect missile anyway, and the firewall does not deal a great damage.

Talking about necrofeminism, perhaps the pink lich have "Feminism Aura": close enemy units' attack and initative is decreased by 2, or cast "Faminism Mind" which decreases the chosen enemy's attack by 4 when attacking pink creatures

nightmare, w/o nightmare inferno would be even worse as a faction.  they NEED nightmare.  no1 else needs their level 5 like inferno, and its probably not close.

Well,Nightmare is an offensive creature,and Inferno have a lot of these like devils,succubuses,pitlords and cerbers and the nightmare doesn't do much damage but again it is increased by the hero.I think Warlocks really need their Hydras,and rangers need their Unicorns for defense and offense.

I totally agree with you Bombur inferno is probably the faction that needs it's lvl 5 less than any other faction...

inferno has a lot of bad/mediocre creatures.  nightmare is a good creature.  its that simple.  if you can't get nightmares then inferno is in doodooo whether or not they have offense/defense split ratios or anything else.

Yes, I actually agree, the Nightmare is a pretty essential creature for the Inferno, at least until Devils come in play. I think perhaps Sylvan is less dependant on the Unicorn until late game, because they have huge damage potential with Hunters + Druids, and thus can do better with the hedgehog tactic until final battle.
