Something different I guess. U sort of lost me with some of the info, but here goes. Named him Atomic, something of a mix of the Atom and Flash. Superspeed and shrinking. Think he should be a scientist also. He didn't get the powers from the Meteor. One of his experiments went boom, and he was caught in it. Works for MEGA, who is funding his research trying to duplicate it.

Sounds ok to me. I'll write you in and move the story a bit along, but will try to keep from doing too much as that is not much fun .

Wylde's power is totally random (and thus up to whoever uses them in their posts). Just try to not have him do the same power twice, and it can be anything from something totally useless, to something uber powerful. Though he can not control which power he gets, he can control whichever power he does get perfectly. Each power stays 'active' for at least an hour during which activating his power always calls that power. It can last for days, also, and his power won't change as long as that power is active. As soon as it goes inactive, it's again random time.
Yes, Atomic has super speed and shrinking. Sort of the flash and Atom combined. Or at least according to Gregorian.
The girls rescued were Stargazer and Ghost.

One word, the neutralizers. Though normally neutralizers pass harmlessly through Ghost, there are a few exceptions. Namely a Neutralizer Net. Unlike normal neutralizers which inject tiny nanobots into the skin which hunt and temporarily disable mutant DNA, the net interupts the energy signal that DNA sends through the body. It also lasts quite awhile after being removed, as the energy is also depleted. Even Ghost needs the energy flowing to keep her ghostly powers. The one reason it is not advisable for her to use one on a constant basis is that it would kill her. Her body has become use to the incorporal state, it would be like putting somebody who grew up in a quarter of earths gravity in an area that had 50x earths gravity. It would crush them. Just takes longer in Ghosts case.
As for your and Thugs delima, it is easily explainable. Since I thought you were going somewhere with it I didn't want to interfear, but Thug has no fear of Neutralizers. He is not a mutant. Nor does he have any super powers. He is a cyborg, and just loves to make things go boom. Now the people he works for, they are mutants, but they know about neutralizers, thus Thug. So they could have shot Thug all day with them and not even tickled him. They do nothing to non-mutants.
Getting him to stop making things go boom, once he has started, is hard sometimes. He is generally a decent guy who will not sell himself to hurt children or such, however. Even in the pursuit of his objective, or in his most obsessive moments with making things go boom, he will try to not hurt any children.
Anyhow, Thug could easily disarmed the ones with the neutralizers. Now if there were any mutants, or heavy weaponary he might have a problem, but only then.
