Nice update  . Does explain a bit. My what a odd place. Giant webs, something effecting powers and technology, people acting odd and unlike themselves, and a town where kids throw around fireballs like some would throw baseballs...

Not so strange actually. Sounds like HC. 
The images should come to everyone if Elvin just doesn't consider it too big of a strain at his powers.

@Mytical: Since Darkblade is NPC I'll ask you how she would react to seeing that about Varjo's past before posting anything new.
Or you could make her a complete bio so I wouldn't have to ask you.
Or you could make her your another PC or at least outside fight scenes you could play with her.
I just don't know how to post with her outside of fight scenes. 
@Ceres: Now you have visions of war and death for your Malice without even moving a finger. Must be frustrating to see that and not be apart of it.

I will make a complete Bio, but despite her being one of the more interesting NPC's her background is one of the more bland.
When she was young she was just a typical girl who happened to be good at acrobatics, gymnastics, ect. She also happened to be fascinated with both ancient weapons and nanotechnology.
SHe was a genious, but not very good around people. You might call her 'cold'. During one of her experiments with nanotechnology, she injected a 'mutant' (willing participant), but she had not near perfected the technology. Some of the nanites 'escaped' the host, and infected her. The mutant was a 'medium' (somebody who could talk to long dead spirits).
It is unclear how, but the nanites carried this long dead spirit into Darkblade. The two didn't merge, but the spirit did influence her development. Soon the spirit moved on, bored perhaps, but it's effect lingered. Now the only way she uses nanotechnology is to improve her ancient weapons. Making them stronger, lighter, ect. She has even developed her own, using ancient weapons for a template. She absloutely knows nothing about any other type of technology, nor does she have any desires to use her knowledge of nanotechnology for anything other then improving/making her own ancient type weapons. (Think things like lazer swords, ect also).
Personality wise, she is cold and distant (well she has taken a liking to Varjo though). To those few she does let close she is playful and mischievous. The images would have no effect on her. She can kill without hesitation or qualms. She does follow orders, however, thankfully.

Varjo and Darkblade?
Not sure. Maybe. Maybe not. We'll see.
Varjo is fascinated by her that's for sure. But not so much with her looks although they bear a certain resemblence to her wife but more with her fighting and moves. Time will tell.
Darkblade seems pretty much like Varjo but since Varjo has military background and Darkblade's is M.E.G.A.-member that's not a miracle.

Here is the way I see it in regards to Varjo and Darkblade.
Darkblade is a bit more nimble and flexible.
Varjo has superior combat skills, expertise, and strength.
They are about even on most other things. One other thing she might have on him is security systems.
If you ever seen a show Jake 2.0 subtract the wireless internet connection and that is pretty much Darkblade. Oh and add the ability to 'improve' ancient weaponry to be useful in a futuristic setting .
