Don't feel too bad Malice. Each person's subconscious picked the solution that would rarely occur to them (or that I at least thought wouldn't lol)

Problem Child - That there was no tricky part to the trial.

Ok, time to make a little confession. Though I do 'fly by the seat of my pants' on most things..I rarely do things without some reason (as chaotic as it sometimes might be).
For those of you who also follow Gladerion (or participate in it), you might have noticed something similar to what is going on in MEGA. This is NOT a coincidence. Sometime (I won't say when) the two will cross over for a very brief time. Had this planned ever since I created Gladerion. That is why both have been found to have a 'nexus'.
Now this isn't planned for anytime soon, but with everybody involved's help it will happen. . Also I am using the nexus to bring over some colorful NPC's I had in Dawn of War (now Omega's baby the War of 5/8). These of course will be alternate reality versions, but I miss them so I will use them as more active NPC's. (Most of the npc's are not very active ).

You are all back in space, fighting the alien fleet (or a small part of it actually). You are waiting on the friendly alien reinforcements. Since the force that had brought you to the other time line is dead, you are back to the original timeline (Mega city, etc). Told ya that when whatever was tainting the well died, that the journey to the 'magical' realm would end.

I figured we need to get cracking again, so Misty has something really good to read when he gets back.
As to Man's cane, it's currently firing off lasers that aren't really fatal per se. The beams are of an unknown (well, I know what it is) energy that displace anything they hit. So let's say a beam hits an alien in the leg. He won't instantly die or anything. What happens is the area where he was hit no longer exists. Basically, he has a hole in his leg where muscle, bone, and tendons used to be.

I will be taking over the role of Malice for a bit. Ceres asked me to make her an NPC for the time being. Cousin is still looking to join, but with the passing of my brother things got a bit delayed there. Sending him an email as soon as I can with the web addy (he lost it) for this rpg.
Edit : Just to speed things up, took a bit of control and got you all back to earth with the Beast Man aliens (the good guys). The little fleet you all faced was not even 5% of the total armada that the humanoid aliens possess. You deffinately have to get them out of space for a fight, but the tricky part is how. 
Tale of the tape . ((Here is where I measure up the sides in this particular conflict))
Team 'MEGA'
30 Mutants (total) with various ammounts of power.
12 of which can be considered HIGH powered (including the players)
5,000 space ships (left after a recent space fight)(only 2 of which were confiscated from the Humanoid aliens. One of which belongs to old man, and one is a gundam. The rest belong to the 'beast men' aliens)
With a population of about 30 billion (remember the whole planet is one big city now) I'd say about 1/2 (15 billion) are capable of combat. Only about 3 billion are actually trained for combat however.
Homefield advantage.
Beastman - Reflexes, strength, and endurance much higher then either normal human or alien humanoid. Their ships are actually inferior to alien humanoids, yet they manage to destroy about 10 humanoid alien ships for each one of theirs destroyed.
Alien Team -
Unknown if any mutants (with powers) exsist or not, or what their power/power level would be.
5,000,000 space ships. (4,750,000 after a recent defeat)
About 1 billion actual combatants. Unknown population level. All the combatants are battle hardened and highlly trained.
Must limit structural damage to harvest energy, however, does not care how many casualties they have.
What it boils down to. Most of the fight will not be between the group and the 'normal' army. Most of that will be able to be handled by the beast men and regular earth army. Only the 'leaders' of the army will be a challenge. How many their are of those, how dangerous they are, and what else they have up their sleeve is anybody's guess
