 I wanted some more skills to the factions, but this is waaaayyyy to much! Every faction can get allmost everything! This ruins the happines of getting a cool skill which only your hero can get

in the adress line take away stronghold(on creatures) and type in any other faction you want

What the hell. Necro gets empathy? That ability that's based on your creatures getting +- morale. I mean I know they don't take leadership but that ain't helping.
Edit: saw it on the updated skill wheel at Celestial Heavens.

I just personally downloaded the game after getting off of work, quite impatient waiting on time to get off needless to say. I'm a fan of the new faction; the game has a whole new look and handle but I don't really find that to be a bad thing. It beats a carbon copy of HoF with a new faction and story if they are going to put work into an expansion to the game. Not only that, but the end-all to the HoMM V storyline.

I am downloading now... but I am afraid that it won't work  My computer is old old old...
Strangely I am now more exited to try the new Inferno. Teleport Other seems so much fun!! Not to mention Seduce... Oh well, i think I might change my mind when I see the new Orc Town from the inside.. Oh my oh my! *happy happy happy*

how old is your computer? my father is from 2002 and it works. But it's definitly NOT smothly. no the mouse is jumping from one place to another.
Found out i deleted the zip file with the demo so now i must download it when my pc come back

I found the wait worth my time. I've played the demo until I can get the hang of holding off the human hero waves, even waited and let the tent be crushed and build the long way to see how the AI reacts.
Overall, I find that the new expansion is going to give it the feel of a true add-on. I can't wait to get ahold of it and try out some random generated maps and watch the balance of each race work.

I really loved the idea of the sidequest too. Theres at least two of them
(go talk to the mermaid!)

Really in heroes 5 normal almost all the sidequests where actually neccazsary to complete the mission. Or where very minor things you might have discovered anyway

Most sidequests were either more or less needed to win the mission, or was something that makes sense to do anyway (like capturing all the gold mines in the second mission).
The mission actually had a ton of sidequests, some which don't appear in the log. The catapults that you can fire at the castles, for instances. Or the post under attack from the other side of the river.
Really gave the map a more lively and interactive way, a touch that I liked.
