The New Expansion - TOTE
Ok so anyone played the demo yet?
Personally i'm not going to play it , Waiting on the full game ..
But from first news i can see a totally new game - ( which is very good)
New skills for all towns , mixed neutrals , scripting in Multiplayer maps..
And more - ofcourse a new town and lotta new units...
So any impressions from people who played the demo , I see a green future for homm 5 now hopefully

Well you could say that its about doubly as strategically deep, the orcs are good. even though the campaign map for them we got was ultimatly really boring, though it revealed a lot about the game
Lots of new strategies with alternate upgrades, like creating 4 or so stacks of succubus seducters and making the enemys units walk into your moat when your being castle assaulted

I keep looking back, and thinking TOTE is what homm5 should have been, when released initially. Imagine the ratings, support, and much more solid online multiplayer fanbase.
Well TOTE does complete HommV in my eyes, to a point where I feel its the best game in the series, and even if I don't play it multi as often I would like, I'm playing vs computer over and over again, never getting tired of it (eg. long 6 hour flights... the ultimate thing to have on your laptop
For me it also means I can 'advertise' ToH on the ubi chatroom once again, I will be buying two copies -- so one for each internet connection.

yeah thats it really, I feel that if the game started like this people wouldnt have gone saying things like "this game is much worse then heroes 3! or graphics isnt everything and the gameplay sucks" before really giving it too much of a try. Now that some people are blinded by the first game, they wont buy the expansions. but I hope they will actually. even if all the missions were totally random it would be awesome fun to play around with the skills and the orc heroes. And even at first id have to say heroes 5 wasnt bad at all really. People just had low expectations and saw what they wanted to see.

I definitely agree. I felt both that it is complete, but that that's how it should have been right from the start.

Hiya,
Well, though a lot of you do not know me, I will do my quiet best to promote TOTE to the old timers with whom I have kept contact and with whom I play. I think we can make a go of it. Watch and see. I may even get yawacko back from poker loooooooool.

Seems it will be VERY UNBALANSED THING.
Igot info about 3.0 SKILL WHEEL - Easy Get Counterspell + Empaty for some rases (Sylwan in that case = DEATH to Mages and dungeon).
Or Vitorrio get Flaming arrows (Dof to zero +50 fire damage) O rtripple ballista to Deleb.
And seems barbarian race s extrimely powerfull but not sure.
Also is need 21 lvl up at least to get ultimate skill.
For inferno/Sylvan /barbs/dwres it make some reasons.

the impression i got from new skill development and new upgrades, is that now all races and heroes are entitled to a kickstart, when played right, not only certain heroes and towns under certain circumstances

Did you see? A Use magic in auto Combat checkbox - How usefull is that..!

In Demo version H5 looks like absoliute new game. Dinamic battle become usefull and i hope more players will like it. Alot of units upgrade will improve the game- we must forgot everything and start building strategy again

I had to test the game and downloaded it finally yesterday. Played the Orc's scenario and i liked it very much 
There is small story behind why i downloaded the demo and didn't wait game release. My cousin called me yesterday and asked could he come and visit me tomorrow and as a side note he said that he had bought Original Heroes V after we had played one Hot Seat game of HoF. Then i downloaded the demo and played till 6 AM (slept the downloading time) I was middle of battle right when my cousin came. He's impression was priceless: "Umm What...Town you are using?" Hehe that was funny imo but not everyone follow these things so passionate He didn't know about the alternative upgrades either so he was quite amazed about the new expansion and i just said to him "Too bad you have bought that Original H5 already" These kinda things just makes my day. If you just have that one last Ace on your hand and show it to your friend, sorry but your King just aren't good enough. Priceless!
