Actualy going for the ultimate with Wizards can be or cannot be on the bennefit of the player.You have to take in consideration the map,the skills, the rush and everything. I agree sometimes is better NOT do go for ultimate because an wizard cant do it in the first weeks without some spells.However...is up to evryone how they use their skills.And depends on the type of player to.

Another thing to remember is the memory mentor is dependent on the map maker. It won't for example be on any of the maps from HV or HoF.
And we all know you don't get offered the exact skills you want. You can manipulate the system to a certain extent but that only works a little bit.
I sure hope the ToTE map editor has a smoother interface.

First of all, the fact that war machines with catapult, remote control and tremors are needed for a magic ultimate is just LOL.
Anyway, reaching an ultimate is very unrealistic because wizards are spellcasters - it's much better to get 2 magic schools ASAP, then enlightenment and sorcery.
