After a certain American president didn't see it fit to show up to receive the first ever peanut handed outside of HC (Elodin warned us. But we didn't listen. God, we didn't listen.) we now return to handing them out to our fine, hardworking members.
So I'd like to hand out the next one to Smithey for sharing this life saving info about what to do when attacked by wild bears while taking a casual stroll through the local rainforest.
I'll have to try it out some time. 'Til then, enjoy your peanut, Smithey!

Adrius has finally awakened the slumbering behemoth that is the PPHQ, with his Matrix Xerox meme. The words "it's funny cause it's true" have seldom been truer. Or funnier.
And now for a quick message by, well, me.
It's a dire time indeed, my friends, when this thread's been pushed all the way back to the Tavern's third page. That might have something to do with me being in a pickle or two and not having the time to check out all the stuff being posted around, and also with most of you generally being lame most of the time but, much like Jesus, I still love you and will probably be back for good sooner or later.
Now, since it seems Azagal and me are the only two people on the board to not have become moderators in the recent mass promotion (congrats to everyone promoted, by the way), Az doesn't have a lot of smart stuff to do around here, so it's time for him to step out of the shadows, stop pretending he's merely the peanut planters' helper, and take on the role of
the CERTIFIED peanut planters' helper!
...meaning he can scour the lands for any peanutworthy posts Elvin and me missed and, as he has repeatedly proven his judgment to be fair and his heart pure, award those peanuts as he sees fit. I'll be updating the master post with his findings when I drop by - don't worry, you're still not free from my presence, it's just being reduced a bit.

I have stepped down from my Peanut Planting position and so far I don't see a reason to get back (I didn't see any posts I would award a peanut). However, I will still guard this place from thieves and imposters.
