boy, the second mission is a hassle. Even though you're supposed to talk with the clans, they are all hostile to you until you manage to reach their town. Both the brown and the teal tribe have heroes with sizeable armies running around. I managed to scare the brown one off, but he and his army were lost when I talked to his chief. Joy. Now I have the teal hero chasing after Kujin with a huge army consisting of 19 bloody cylops and big numbers of anything else.
Even if I'd managed to breach the first garrison sooner (which took me a whole month, and I still had only like a third of most creatures there, except Wvyerns), I don't think I could beat that one.
By the way, on the first try, that hero even came through the garrison (without having to fight it, they are allied) and stomped down everything I had at that point.

Hard. Can't imagine what the mission would be like at heroic.
I've now managed to beat the mission, but only by cheating to even the odds, and there still are at least 2 more though battles to come after that, but they at least won't chase you. 2 others waiting on the water ( a dark elf and a sylvan elf, oddly) will, though. They lost interest for Kujin after I landed again, but then sailed back to where I came from and started to raid the main land ><.

Yeah, this mission was a really tought one! I was getting backstabbed by teal several times. And when you come out at sea, Iīve discovered that you must take down all elven pirates otherwise they are backstabbing youre main towns.

Some hints: 1. There is a mentor on a small Island to the north wich I had good use of since the new skillwheel can really force you to take some bad skills...

I also had some problems to come to the teal town. Ýou must use summon boat one the Island where the third Town is. Be sure that your hero really stands on the shore when casting it. I was fooled to think I was on the shore when I was one step behind, and could not cast the spell.

Choose Untamed Cyclops, otherwise thereīs a risk that the Cyclops guardian canīt join you.

Iīm on the last map on this Campain rigt now. It seems like a very big map with lots of towns But sadly also long waiting turns

Hmm? That second map, I must say Teal took me by suprice - I thought that they would all stay defensive and just let me come and say hello... But I guess not? Teal ripped my army totally! But the warmongers totally saved my *** with bloodrage 2! UNLIMETED REALTATION!! .. But will they keep coming? and how strong is those on the sea?

I'm about to get the third town after I defeat the pirate. The sylvan and dungeon armies, will they dock on islands or do they only patrol the sea? Should I bother defeating them?

they will land. I had the sylvan guy land on the island with the teal tribe, and the other dungeon hero landing at the shipyard I started of.

I'm at the last mission now, and it seems to be just as annoying. I barely have enough troops on Gotai to clear the easier mines, and both necromancers(wtf? You'd think they'd be allied after Arantir talked to Kujin) and wizards are making housecalls on my barely defended towns.

Just finished 2nd mission. That was weird.. I returned from the sea back to my island but the sylvan hero landed first. Then it would not attack me(I had a worse army) nor proceed forward so I was trapped between the sea and him. I summoned units a couple of times and only then was I able to defeat him From then on it was a cakewalk, I went after the other ship, defeated Lethos and the only other obstacle was the hero guarding the teal.
I guess it's an easy mission if you build army and go for the pirates first, after all you have a lighthouse. I never had to fight any of the other tribes as I did not end my movement close.

Before i went to the sea, I just build a big army because those pirats had way more troops then I had, so they killed me. But ! With a huge army they were pushovers I guess a month in town is very good

And what is with orcs and parties? Kujin most have had the worst hangover EVER!! Having 4 parties in 1 game.. Those orcs are nice

Yes that mission was veeery long (meaning no rushes) but I think that all of you waited too long to take down the brown one. That garrison only look scary. Just let the unupgraded cyclops play... Oh yes, in that mission I discovered my favorite battle shout: Fear my roar, it completely saved the day for me... I took the scholar (orcish type, I forgot the name of the ability) and was hoping that in following two missions I would be able to transfer that shout to Gotai, especially in 4th mission where my objectif was to meet Gotai. Forget about that, I'm in my fifth now, and Gotai just isn't lucky with mage guilds...

And the charm of playing ToE on 512Mo Ram machine is that you have uncovered half of the map, finally got control of the situation, don't of course have a single save coz that's for n00bs, and then your computer crashes to Desktop. I am beyond anger...

I defeated 21 rune patriarchs on week 3 for the goldmine, headed back to town to recruit army and took the garrison easily on week 4.

The sunken temple IS in the next area, but I've got no clue what could be wrong in your case.

Have you been to the Haven units near the hut? And have you visited all the knowledge crystals?

Ok, so someone has been complaining about Orlando at the end of Necro campaign. Has ANYONE finish that fifth scenario of Orcs and took that city Shabitabilya or whatever, coz he'll have to tell me on which map location does your army that count in thousands get multiplied by 10 or 20 in order to take that damn city? I mean honestly, I am at the beggining of month 3, have built perfect, have played a good game, got the Ultimate Skill AND Ability, had like 43 Untamed, 400+ Warmongers, 160+ Chieftains, 70 Paokais, 600+ Goblins, ok somewhat less Centaurs 300+, they got slaughtered through the game and got rollercosted. Rollercosted! Lucky hit by 119 Rakshasas 18 Untamed gone, moral on RR, Galib cast haste on them, they play almost immediately, boom, another lucky, another 18 Untamed...WTF?! The rest got roasted by that 50 Titans of his and 180+ Battle mages...Suggestions?

I didnīt have a problem to take out the last caste on map 5. You should have 2 orc castles with one tears of Asha in one of them. So you can outgrow the single town pretty easy. Be ready to have a decient army after the fight thougt...

Ring of machine efficency and untamed cyclops is important too get down the walls fast.

I had battle elation with bloodfire too. A pretty awsome combo with Gotai. All units started with first level of bloodrage and most had atleast second level after one turn.

You can also get the 800 Golems from a Second objekt .. They are pretty good and dont forget you got 4 Academy towns. But else just sit tight and build up and army: Just wait like 2 months or so.. Out grow him.. And just wait till you see alaric after you got that castle Great battles in that map, though NEcro confused me. They att. me once but then I went to their land and then they were neutral all the sudden!

Second map really is troubling. Well, atleast when brown hero came down looking for me. That was second day of third week. Not sure what to do there now.

Previous days were almost perfect, took that other hero as main (have war machines and that helps a looooot against neutrals - and figure I can level up Kujin later), nicelly clearing my area, then decided to grab that military post, and brown hero cometh. What a douche.

Now, if I fight him and per any chance actually beat him, I'll be on square one, with almost no army, and then again waiting to get that garrison. But I wont win anyway, bastard has 3 cyclops, 6 wyverns, 15 slayers, 40+ warriors, 80+ centaurs and some shamans and goblins I think. And me? 2 wyverns, 13 shamans, 55 warriors, 93 upgraded centaurs, and 50 some goblins...

Playing on heroic. Any advices welcomed.

Use the memory mentor to get Shatter Dark Mass Slow and PM/Frenzy where the worst problem. Slow can be countered to some degree with Earth/Sky Daughters (unless the hero PM's your centaurs and kills the whole stack with a lucky shot...).
Also, waiting another week or two can really make a huge difference since you have quite the growth with 2 towns, the tear of asha and the bunch of dwellings on the map.

Either way, that battle wasn't nearly as epic as Orlando. I lost the first time I tried, but not without taking down most of his troops other than a few hundred gargs. Two weeks later (skipped one week because it had a bad effect), I crushed him losing barely anything other than my Earth Daughter stack because he got lucky with PMing my Centaurs.

Phew.

Guess that +10% on health building really helped. Not to mention terrain that made enemy's cyclops pretty much useless...but managed to beat that brown hero that comes after me, and keep most of the troops. Still have 80 upgraded centaurs, 40 warriors, and 6 shamans. Oh yes, 2 goblins too.

Shamans are great. Slow/haste too helped a lot.

Week 3, day 5 now...prolly waiting for next month for garrison. Or maybe earlier? Wont bother taking gold mine, or crystal mine, damn magic using bastards there.
