You'd better warn us, I don't want to read any spoilers accidentally. I just reached orc mission 3 and would rather continue the game ignorant of future twists.

sorry, I did not intend to spoil things for you, that's why I tried to kept the description vague.
@Watcher: I'd say you'll enjoy it more playing the game and finding out all the details yourselves. 
After all, thats what the campaigns are for.

What on earth...
Isabel learns Raelag's identity just before the rite, there is a missing cutscene!
Check the Alliance, 4th dialogue. I bet that's one more bug that came with the original H5 but I am surprised I did not hear about it before. Naturally you must have 1.5 patch installed.
I guess that pretty much covers most of the questions brought up.

The question marks are leading me astray here but I don't think it was in the finished game. I distinctly remember being confused at the idea that Isabel is fighting everyone willingly, and being disappointed when there was no explanation as to how she ended up in that ritual place.

Just checked my saved game again, yes this is a missing piece! I only have the scene where Isabel already lying unconscious and Raelag went "Be strong Isabel, have faith..." or something like that. (We're talking about the post-final battle of the Alliance right?)
Hmm... wonder if we can somehow watch this missing scene.

Actually, there's at least one missing from the Sylvan campaign, in the final mission. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out all the scripted sequences ... I've assembled all the scripts for the original game and HoF in one huge document. A quick search for the trigger that plays a sequence should bring them all up .

I'm a modder so I just stole into the vaults of Heroes V's data packs and emerged victorious with the missing scene's dialogs.

so now we have two imporant cinematics missing in the original game...
(the other being the "Great Night" cinematic in the last Sylvan mission).
