It's called let's fight, it got converted to tote. Pretty good map, all mines are guarded by horde of tier 3 and wood/ore by horde of lvl 1. I managed to take them all week 1 with academy and dungeon but starting town is not exactly lvl 1

560 arch devils in let's fight???omg how lond did u have to leave them tire 7 units never reach 100 with me on heroic,cause u can reach lvl 36 w/o having to leave them for a long time

I have not seen that replay then, the one I posted had 58 archdemons.

Anyway here's a couple more.

An easy way to clear firehounds Ok I was a little lucky in this one.

35 lava dragons on week 3. Probably not a world record but they are not easy to bring down

I am probably out of practice but 54 archangels was one heck of a fight. Seems light would have helped with regeneration's duration but you just can't have a flaming ballista, dark, summoning, sorcery AND light. I am more concerned how this battle would have gone without the ballista.

Hey, I want to see unlucky creeping in multiplay too

I just lost 7 Stalkers because of Ammo Cart - the enemy came hitting it and revealed the Stalkers next to it.. darn Eruina with ammo cart!

When using dungeon I give warmachines to my secondaries and don't put on ring of celerity/speed to have the stalkers act slower. Helps with invisibility duration.

Edit: DAMMIT I didn't keep that replay after all! In a duel I used invisibility with the matriarchs. Afterwards my opponent forgot about them and teleported his marksmen within 3 tiles of my hydras and guess at what spot Right next to the matriarchs uncovering them but unable to shoot

Yes. I should not have warmachines from now on.. you don't even need the ammo cart for anything... you have 0 shooters in your lineup (if not for the slower initiative, I would perhaps have sticked with Matriarchs..)

I'll start posting my unlucky (or untalented) creepings And then I'll ask after each one "what went wrong?"

edit : @elvin i guess it would've been better to use master gremlins not sabouters to ressurrect the ballista

560, 4 stacks of 140 Archdevils each. It was Kythra with Stalker and Firewall/ball. I can't remember who posted it, but I really would like to face such adversaries too
560, is that already a legion or still a swarm?

Yeah but I don't creep with master gremlins, the new ones are better suited for creeping. Though maybe I should get them when I go the ballista way, I lost my ballista a few times.

Here's the wrong way to creep matriarchs with academy

That works better Apparently they don't want to shoot you to death when there's an arcane crystal involved, go figure.

A stronghold-haven match. Stronghold rules This combination is just amazing though I forgot that shatter light affects units too, corrupt light=no divine vengeance from seraphs. The fight could have been very different if Godric had champions AND he was lucky enough to play first. I put the warmongers among the cyclopses and chieftains in hope they will draw the attack should the paladins act first. With all those orc units clattered it's hard for haven to take down the ballista.

The same battle but this time AI takes over both heroes. Admire the AI brilliance in its full glory!

And of course the hero skill screenshots. Don't be fooled, the knight's ballista was pretty good but the AI kept targetting the shamans that were pumped up in rage. Otherwise it could kill 2 untamed cyclopses or 8 chieftains(not sure how many executioners). Normally I'd have defense/luck or retribution on haven but I wanted to test the ballista. I wonder if it's even worth it to take light magic and not take another combat skill.

If anyone wants to do some testing on his own here is my Duel Map. There are 8 faction towns all human playable having:

A lvl 1 hero with 5 weeks' worth of army.
If you want the other set of upgrades for some of the units you can just retrain them in the town. The heroes are Kragh(stronghold), Godric(haven), Grok(inferno), Sinitar(dungeon), Jhora(academy), Ylthin(sylvan), Naadir(necropolis). All start with advanced their racial and a must skill(say attack for stronghold, destuctive for dungeon). Necro has a slightly boosted army, haven does not have all paladins trained, near academy there is a conscript that carries resources for artificer. Did not place unit garrisons for sylvan's avenger, sorry for that!

A sphinx that levels you up to lvl 21.

A magic well for instant mana refilling.

A memory mentor in case you were unlucky with lvl ups.


In the middle of the map there are 20-50 archangels, titans, archdevils and spectral dragons - Feel free to ignore them
