Well i think the Gremlins and the Skeleton Archers are the most useless units(from upgrades) no mother what they have

But don't forget the magnetic golems did about ... NOTHING. They were favored enemies too so  ...

They are even weaker physically than the steel ones, maybe he was experimenting or hoped that their higher initiative would have helped in the fight.

Can anybody recommend some nice large map which isn't over in 4 to 8 weeks? I'm really longing for some epic battles (more than a couple of tier7 creatures) and some nice heroe lvl-ing (like in that replay, getting sinitar up to 49sp  ), but I can't really find a good map. (Playing against the AI)

The map BK-School10-10-07 from maps4heroes was quite good, with some scripting. I eded up with like 100 Crystal drags, but was quite easy for me, even on Heroic, enabled AI weekly bonus and Price on my head.  Perhaps it's a good idea to modify it and team up all AI to fight only vs Human...

there's also,the small map let's fight,u'll be able to get high spellpower (i reach 53) and nice lvls and it won't be lots to load if u have a not very fast pc like mine and u can get like lvl 34 ^.^ u'll find it on maps4heroes too

Just like I said yesterday, I modified the School map and teamed up all opponents vs me.
This is the first battle vs dungeon (I have no idea where the hell did he take all those minos from :/ ). I'm 3 lvls off Natures Luck
sylvan vs dungeon
Unfortunately he run away.

It's already difficult to get those AI losers to fight, and then they flee ... argh!

I noticed, that AI does not run away from fight when their army is calculated as High threat to me. They tend to run and turtle in town on anything lower than that, so Challenging and lower.
However the replay above was another one, army was Challenging and AI did not run away nor attack, they did not move an army for a turn

I had a very big fight today that I wished I replay, unfortunately I though about it only the next day after I won. It was the map battle cry freedom. After capturing the academy towns and all those rakshasas (50-60 in each town) there's a heaven hero coming to you with huge stats and HUGE army( 30 seraphs, 50 cavaliers, 65 zealots, 140 bat. griffs, 250 alt. swordmen, 350 crossbow and 600 brutes). I had way less troops, especially high tiers was scarce(?).I eventually won with 90 warmongers left (who new that from all creatures they will survive- that second blood rage lvl with inf. retal really helped). in the end I got loads of cool artifacts so my stats were extremely high too.

This is for anyone who thinks you can defeat a Gater with just ignoring the Gates and try to defeat the other Creatures and win.

I played Nymus he played Ossir
He disconnected when he only had 4 High Druids left sadly.
