Heh, are you a psychic or what?  But no, though I favor other factions, it's neither at the bottom of my list. Decent heroes as you said, and Urgash's Call is also one hell of Ultimate late game. But it's always somewhere in between, never the strongest early game, neither in late game. (We're talking about overall strength, not just creeping wise.)

So can we freely assume you're one of the voters?

well inferno got a lot more powerful in ToTe thanks to above-average alternatives, access to counterspell and empowered deleb (triple ballista and flaming arrows..) so it's ok to say they are strong. It's no lategame sylvan or earlygame academy, ofc, but it's ok.

You are wrong. Any inferno/haven/academy/stronghold/sylvan/fortress army of that price with or without pupper master would be crushed beyond any recognition whatsoever whether you like it or not (The AI did nothing stupid).

These results supriced me. Necro being (so far, the poll could change) the strongest faction. Hmm? Any Necro guys wanna tell me why? I dont think that their alts changed that much, except the deadly Lich Master, Raise dead x 2 . Pretty usefull

nope, i forgot to vote, ok, even my most favourite faction is inferno in ToTE, i vote for dungeon, not a late gamers indeed, also not the best in power, but who cares, i never pursue power.

Stronghold has this annoyning bug. It's not a bug actually but being able to mentor other barbs so that they get that stupid defend us all perk to simply spam goblins is not really fair

For example a main barb X has 100 warmongers.
1. Give to fresh barb those 100 warmongers.
2. Use mentor on a fresh barb.
3. Get defend us all - 200 goblins for free.
4. Then repeat with other fresh barb.

I don't think so. You would have to get defence, vitality and defend us all with each hero (a certain amount of luck is needed to get all these skills when levelling up). not to mention the fact that enlightenment is a 2% skill for barbarians and that mentoring requires two other skills and exclude blood fire (arguably the best enlightenment skill for barbarians).

Bloodfire is good when you attack first. If not, it just makes you weaker. Defense(base 10%) is easy to get. Chance for enlightenment is low but that's not good enough to make this whole abusive thing balanced. Often, maps have witch huts so the actual chance is higher.

And you'd "waste" 3 levels after getting enlightenment to get mentoring... for a bunch of goblins? Meaning that you get way behind for absolute rage or more useful skills. Not a good choice.

Plus the fact that you still have to buy extra heroes. All this trouble for some free goblins? I don't think so.

Still if you have a magic shrine where some high level spell can be learned, that could be worth a try.

Well, it depends. On late game oriented maps(main battle is week 5-6 or later) with 2 castles(or more) it's going to be a very big bunch of goblins.

I know I'm not saying anything new, but imo it's pointless to argue about what is the best faction, because every faction has its strengths and weaknesses and there's no faction that beats a certain one 100% of the time. For instance, would you consider haven as the best faction because of its good endgame? Maybe some more specific polls would be more useful.

You can check in the manual and you'll realize how lucky you are. Not that enlightenment is the most useful skill for barbarians imo.

Necropolis
Though they have no morale (Good and bad advantage), the most important thing is all units are immune to puppet master or frenzy (2 of them is my favorite spell, they kill devils.) and easily raised back using raise dead.

Enlightenment isn't that bad. You get extra spellpower to use with might over magic, the knowledge helps with ballista and the barbarian's pathetic mana, attack and defense is obvious and you level up faster. Against the slow necropolis army bloodfire seems like a good idea for reaping the rewards of higher rage levels.

Adding some puny 50-100 rage doesn't solve the main problem: losing rage 1.5 times faster. A barb has to be sure to really hit first(somehow..) to really benefit. No hitting first = making bloodrage 1.5 weaker.

With bloodfire it's 75 to 150 points (which decrease damage depending on skill rage level).

And yes, a barbarian MUST hit and hit again. Waiting or defending is not an option. Killing an entire stack  provides even more bloodrage.
