Yep, i guess this is it...
Magmas and blacks are harder to take because of immunity, so you basically fight a double number of them, and archagels because of ressurection. If they are in large numbers the ressurect each other almost completely.

Samiekl: I mentioned SP, not the level  I tend to get massive attack all the time, so 10 SP without arties is a quite good score for me, actually. Yeah, I'm aware of the fact you can get level10 in first week
Dunno how you do it mate, i always have spellpower higher then my level. For example, at level 14-15 i tend to seldom have it around 20.

I had tried to hit the two archangels that will act later so the first ones would resurrect them but it seems they resurrect only after a certain percentage of the stack is gone.

Perhaps I'm just unlucky. Last time my lvl 10 hero had attack higher than spellpower and 2 points of knowledge

Creeping with phoenix ?
Against shooters, i think with resurrection would be better 
If not bring lots of stones with u to block them ... Note they're immue to lighting as well, if its against titans, against 20 shadow matriches with a phoenix... abuse your motw They can't really do much damage right ?
10-20 stones shld do the job

I've tried with magmas, but yes you're right, blackies is a big challenge really ... i'll wait for ur replay when you've succeeded

As i said before, Expert Destruction - master of fire, secrets of destruction, ignite, Expert enlightenment - intelligence, +2 spellpower, eagle eye.
You just cant go wrong... trust me on this one. This is level 11, right? look, at least +2 spellpower, +2 knowledge.

Archangels aren't hard .. after the invisible, 2 lines of firewall and some imploding would clear off most of them

perhaps I really need to take a closer look to the firewall method. The new ToTe things still overwhelm me Firewall was so useless in the vanilla H5 times.
I can't help my bad luck with the levelups, though. I got attack like.. three times in a row? :/
Not to mention crappy perk choices each level.

Sure, just that i tend to use eldtritch arrow and whatever i get from secrets of destruction till very late. So, i rarely fight something with implosion. In hg i build mage guild just before i break unless i get something good from utopia.
About that replay, you can count on it... this weekend if i have time you'll have it
Doomforge, firewall or fireball, it really doesnt matter. I just prefer fireball, SQ seems to like firewall

Firewall hits them each time they wait and if you also add the ignite bonus it's a lot.

Sq has a nice breaking replay on hg. It's like my old one, only that he managed to do it faster. For now at least

Yep that's alot really .... 3 turns and 3 wait = 6 time, presuming its 450 damage, 6x450 = 2700/stack, plus some imploding or lighting chain, that settles most major fights

Hi, I'm new at this thread so here goes my opinion about it:
I think it's Sylvan because of certain things like having the best shooter in the game (hunter) , the best defensive unit (take roots ability rocks!), creatures with the second highest initiave (dungeon is first), the power of puppeting three stacks at the same time with rain of arrows is also a great thing (many other spells work pretty well too), best level 5 unit, unicorn,  , effective moat in the castle, great ultimate ability (though it's difficult to achieve, since only 4 heroes can do so, i think), a might faction, mainly.
ps: Forgot something, those little sweety candies in shape of faeries, makes everyone say auughhhhhhhh!!!!! and give up attacking them. (of course, it's just a joke, they're not that "inoccent" and cute)

One question plz! Unixmage , how can those org get 428 cyclop ? :-O The one you counter is a player or AI ?
I suppose it must be an AI, no one can get that much tier 7 creature without cheatcode :|

A few things:
Yes firewall with ignite rocks, but you seldom get it unfortunately...
1 chance out of 6 from secrets and 1 out of 3 from the guild ... fireball is less effective
Trade guild is good and is a must, but you won't always have +SP/+KW stuff or elemental arties (lots of time I get junk  ).
Last about lvl10 and such ... I dono about you guys but if I kill every damn creep in sight on heroic, taking only gold from chests I still don't hit lvl10 by end of week 1 ... only lvl8 or so.

on maps like hg it's rather hard NOT to get level 10+ in first week, actually. Try taking some exp from chests (those who give 1k or 1,5 exps) at the beginning too, speeds up things a bit.

In my first try HG I got lvl 13 on day 7. I guess it depends on the map but 10 is achievable in quite a few I have played.
