AI Heroes don't lose troops in Whirlpools. At least, I've never seen them do so.

I miss the Heroes3 AI speed.
Im getting ridiculous slow AI when using maps from the in-game RMG from TotE.

No, they don't. I created a testing map, where I loaded up a Sylvan Hero on a boat, with 7 stacks of creatures. Several had 10 units, several had 100. I gave him about 20 Lighthouses, just to be sure he would move anywhere , and connected four water areas with whirlpools and treasures and floatsam in each of those. During playtest, the AI Hero went through the whirlpools over a dozen times during a single turn.

When it was my turn again, I used the scripted command GetObjectCreatures to see how many of each he had. The numbers were completely identical to what he had at the start of his turn, before moving anywhere.

The AI never loses creatures when passing through a whirlpool.

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, playing heroes since 1995...
I KNOW that this is probably post by lots of members : but this forum is the greatest source of info; Congrats to all who take good care of this things to happen.

The only question that I have : could someone provide feedback if Buying the original game will resolve the AI LONG turns??
[P4-3GB ; 2GB Corsair CL2 ; Leadtek 7600GT TDH, 2 RAID 0 Seagates - so I suppose the system won't cause any trouble for that] - I also noted that with my current system there is no difference between performance @ different screen res, and different options..
