I'll be the first to give you some quatloos for a good find.
It was nostalgic until I got to the horror that was HOMM4. I would like to see the Heroes series heroes evolution on a chart too.

does it mean that all the maps from heroI- heroV could be available in HOMMV?if it is so... it's wonderful!

Now my memory of Heroes 1 and 2 has a bunch of black holes in it, but from what I seem to recall from Heroes 2 was that tier 2 through 6 all had an upgrade in Heroes 2, and the Warlock tier 6 (Dragon) even 2. However, in the chart I see numerous other creatures without upgrades either. For example the Academy tier 2 and 5, or Elven tier 5 and 6. Is my memory just getting demented, or were those missed in the map?
Anyway, it's fun to see such an overview.

Your memory serves you wrong. In Heroes 2, many creatures came without upgrades. Good examples: Unicorn, Phoenix and Peasant. And yes, the good old days where Dragons came with two upgrade steps.

My god... Dungeon is one messy faction.. the changes from HoMM1 to HoMM5 is Huge... From 2 to 3, many went to other factions and only 3 creatures ended up in the new Dungeon lineup...
And Inferno ... A messy one to, in the way that there wasn't many in HoMM4 :S
