Academy food is probably something really spicey.
Stronghold creatures eat goblins and the rest eat wild boar.
Inferno feast on souls and flesh.
Necropolis vampires drink blood, the heroes can probably satisfy their hunger magically and the rest of the creatures are alive by magic so they don't need food.
Fortress mammoth and deer meat with lots of ale.
Sylvan, nuts and herbs and yeaughkhh.
Dungeon eat worms and fungi! (just look at their figures and complexion)
Haven have bread, corn, chicken, beans etc.

The diet in the HUE varies based on class.  Nobles, Priests, and important warriors eat well, usually four to five meals a day, consisting of various foods.  There is always some form of vegetable, usually a bit of milk, butter, and/or cream, and some bread.  On special occasions they eat meat, since it can be hard to come by.  It is a sign of status to have a lot of meat, since getting it in one peace all the way up to those high towers through a city full of hungry peasants can be difficult.  Peasants, on the other hand, usually eat quite a bit of meat, usually hare, common birds, and occasionally a forest animal.  They also might eat excess produce from their farms and perhaps milk or cheese for those who keep cows and goats.

Sylvan cities rarely eat meat, but eat a great variety of fruits and vegetables. In peaceful times druids will try to use magic to create special fruits, and friendly dinner competitions are held at times to create new trees bearing food.  Fruits are easy, vetgetables are a bit harder, and it is always an excuse for jubulation if a guest at dinner manages to grow a cheese tree or make a fountain run with soups.  Sometimes Elves will eat fish, usually in ritual meals.  They feel fish are less precious than Deer or other animals of the forest, and thus have less qualms about eating them.  Many meals are seasoned with Herbs, such as Garlic, Rosemary, and Lavender.

Sweets and Spices go hand in hand in the Silver Cities, where there is a roaring trade in sugar cane from the coastal islands and spices grown in the desert.  Many have grown rich and fat from plantations of Paprika, with golems specially crafted to plant and weed.  In other cases, Wizards enjoy multicourse meals, usually designed to impress guests by showing off the hoast's bounty of flavors.  Infact, there are two cities flying around up there entirely devoted to food:  Al-Charnis and Al-Kerlaz.  Instead of military housing or golem production, the city is weighed down with warehouses full of Spice and Sugar.

In Ygg-Chall, there are four implements for eating: The Fork, the Spoon, the Knife, and the Athame.  The ordinary Knife is used like most use it: for cutting food. The Athame is used for making sure food is dead.  In slop houses of many armies, slave camps, or low rent districts, food is simply dunked in flavoring and released through the hall, and whoever can catch and kill enough for a meal will get a meal.  The slower ones will go hungry.  Food can be anything, and some actually dine rather well, though fruit is a rare commodity.  Mushrooms are in great supply.

Most beings in Heresh do not eat, and those who do usually have very specific diets.  Souls, Brains, or Blood are the main food groups.  Souls can be consumed by many, Zombies of course love brains, and Vampires need blood to sustain their unlife.

Through the Prison of Sheogh, there are two food groups: Flesh, usually eaten without disgression by all demons, few of whom are above scavenging; and Magic.  Magic is a favorite food for upper class demons, who employ imps to catch it.  Magic is what keeps the demon's fire going, what makes them live and breathe.  Survival for many is dependant on theivery.

Very good Daystar... But the Sylvan should be rather more like they kill animals but always with respect to them (like native americans) They use every single part of the animal and don't waste it, because the noble animal has been a great gift to them. And they never kill more than what they need, so the balance is maintained.

The other is Ygg-Chall... where the dining manners resemble more that of the Orcs! As far as I see it it is a very elitistic society, where the Matriarchs and heads of the clans (females) live in greatest luxury, having all and everything at their grasp. The males become one rank lower and perhaps dine at some Assassins guild, some at Raiders guild. But still enjoy a fairly decent standard of living because their population is overall small compared to other races. Lastly the slaves would be thrown something half-rotten that is barely eatable...
