I don't understand, really. Sometimes I just wanna kick the world in the butt. I guess I have to believe that all things happen for a reason... but it doesn't make life any fairer

Sheesh man.
Just hang in there with positive thoughts that she will make it out ok.
Everything will be ok.
Just think positive & think about how well she will be when she is better.Happy to see her daughter.
Just do what you have been doing & everything will be ok buddy.

Sometimes too harsh for me.
It's tough. Dont worry though.

I really like that you wrote it here, to us, people who dont know you. To write or talk about things like this, always help.
And as you can read, we are all with you and your wife. (in this moment I actully puts on my most happy song I got.) Hope your wife will get well soon. Many thoughts from Denmark going to you..

25 years old dear gosh only a year older than me and to think that such a thing could happen at such an early age... so sorry man...
But I am interested to know which kind of birth did you guys decide on? The hard, dangerous and agonizing but natural one or the easy pain free drugs accomodated one?

I just came home from hospital today. I am undecided how to value the current situation. The doctors brought her back from the coma they have put her in. She is currently unable to speak, neither can she move arm or leg of the right side of her body. Left side works quite ok. She can open her eyes, hear everything we say, but she can only nod (moving head up and down) for saying "Yes", but she is unable to move her head from left to right to express "No". The dangerous thing at the moment is her blood pressure. Today, all of a sudden again, it went up to 235 (!!) and emergency alarm was initiated. Doctors could help her with medicine and bring it back down to 160 again, and then immediately made a nuclear spin photography to see if more blood was to be seen in the head which could cause this high blood pressure, but this was not the case. They have yet to find the reason for this unstable blood pressure.

Due to the fact, the baby didn't turn around (head down, feet up), doctors had to make a so called "C-Section". But this operation has nothing to do with this stroke, this is what the doctors already found out.

Wow, Angelito, that sounds like an episode of House... I'm still very sorry for you and I do hope your wife gets better as soon as possible. Did the doctors know wether she'll recover any time soon?
Next time you're in the hospital visiting your wife, you can tell her that there are hundreds of people from all around the world that are thinking about her and praying for her to get better.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I really hope everything will work out alright.
If this is any consolation blood pressure alone doesn't prove anything. When I was 17 (!) I had high pressure - about 150 that jumped to almost 200 once in a while. After overgoing half a year of different tests I was assured that aside of blood pressure there is absolutely nothing wrong with me. And now that I'm taking a small pill every morning even my pressure is below 140. So, if the doctors didn't find anything else, I believe that everything will be alright.

I am very sorry fot this. No doubt, this world has something tottally wrong: the beter human is the more he suffers fom the 'true' god, if such being (or something similar) exists he surely made much mistakes when creating the thing called fate... All what I can do is hope that everything will be allright in few days. Just be strong and optimistic, and take care of your baby.

Lets not pull religion into this. Everyone has their beliefs.
I wish you luck . I get angry at the world and myself many times. But at the worst times i think of how many people would suffer themselves if i was gone and try to think more positively . You can proably print these pages and show them to her

This is serious.
Just make sure you are there when she comes out of the hospital.
Got to be patient.
The baby must of somehow broke a blood Vessel which prevented blood going to the brain.
Good news is that it happened in the hospital & not far away where you could not reach it in time.
It gives doctors time to help cure any kind of brain damage.
Strokes are very serious that it can cause instant disability.
Not knowing where you are, Hard time walking & even dizzyness.
It takes time but doctors have ways to repair & reduce clots.
Just got to give it more time.
I do not know too much about Strokes but i know the longer you wait, the more severe brain damage can occur.
It seems this was not the case but it may take time.
Give it another day or 2 to see if she gets better.
We want her to get better, Br prepared also.

Wow, this is terrible Angelito!
I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, especially since your wife is sooo young.
I wish I could do more to help, but I guess I can only pray for you like everyone else is. I hope she recovers and you can all get back to your normal lives very soon.

Angelito my thoughts and prayers are with you this holiday season. I hope everything turns out well for you and your family. Nobody can know how hard it is to be facing the loss of a loved one, who has not been there. 2 hours ago we recieved confirmation of what I already feared. My brother has cancer of the stomach and liver. It started in the stomach and spread to his liver. Due to how far it has spread, they are not very possitive about his chances. My family will include you and your wife in our prayers. Don't give up hope.

It is now 1 week ago when the stroke happened.
It really seems things are becoming better each day. Today when I visited her, she was able to say a few words...very very soft spoken...but I could understand. And she was also able to raise her right arm the first time today...the leg not....but you can't have it all, can you?
It was a really good day today for me, to see her making progression in all parts. You learn the real meaning of words like "fortune", "happiness" and "love" in such situations.
Just wanted you all taking part in my good feelings today.
