Heroes 3 doesnt show up in gamespy
I have heroes 3 complete installed in my computer and it doesnt show up in gamespy in "my games". Anyone know why this would be? Im using windows XP home and heroes 3 complete is version 4.0
Any help? I have played heroes 3 for some years now and would want to try it on internet because im bored to my other games

There is some cracks - nocd.exe. I am not sure, but what they do is to make your system recognise the game installed.
even if it doesnt work - dont worry. You dont need it to show up in Game Spy, bacause you can play using hamachi. Actually most of the games in gamespy finally are played over hamachi. GS is used only to meat oponent and than you use hamachi.

Its a problem because he cant meet the players on GS. I have the same prob on my new pc. I can install GS but heroes is nowhere to be found.

okay thanks for replies, do u have any idea what should I do now? How can I get GS to reckognize heroes? Or should I download hamachi? What kind of program is hamachi then?

There is a trick!
When u install GS go like this: Gamespy then options. When u got options menu go down to games and then double click more games.
Then u will se the list of all games that can be played in GS. Go to heroes of might and magic III, then on the right u will se browser. Just browse the location of your heroes3.exe file and then click apply. U will see heroes 3 in my games. Just join the main lobby.
Btw, u can browse any game.exe file and click apply and u will be able to enter the room of game u wont

Thanks ! Now it works! But I cant see any rooms there..? How I get to play this game in internet ? Seems to be no people playing it with GS
