Hey guys...
This is really not the place I should be asking this question, but what the heck, eh?
First off, let me just say, that this is NOT HEROES RELATED, IN ANY, WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. This isn't a joke, but if you feel you need to believe it is, go ahead. I also apologize for any spelling or punctuation errors I may make, in advance.
Okay...here goes.
My girlfriend and I (I'm male, just to put any other 'ideas' out of your mind) have been dating for several years, ever since we were about 11 or 12 or so. (And Like i said before...I'm not joking)
We are both 17 now, however, she is about to turn 18 in a couple weeks, November 28th, to be precise.
While we've been together, I've gotten about 80% of the stuff she's wanted, or had her eye on. (The 20% was really a "I've got high hopes" kinda thing -- You try leasing a Viper! Regardless, I'm only 17 in the first place)
Herein, lies the problem...honestly... I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO GET HER! I have probably brainstormed for days on end to no avail. I love her, I cant believe I don't know what to do...
No offense to all of you, but...it makes me feel like crap, that I have to ask here...she's my girlfriend after all aren't I supposed to know this stuff? Arg...

That's a good idea, actually
it depends on how much you'd like to spend on the gift. I don't know if she likes jewelry but a small silver ring or a pendant can be a great idea. A single red rose and dinner for 2 is a great idea too... and as they said, don't ferget the kiss. ;-)

She is his GF, not his WIFE!
Dunno about his GF but if you gift me underwear, I will kick your butt... nothing personal but I hate guys thinking about themselves when giving me a present. ;-)

of course I been joking til now
actually i am funny about gifts, I tend to think about why someone (I'm talking close friend or lover) bought me this gift.
we cannot help anfi at all, because only he knows what his gf is about.
I think about things my friends / lovers enjoy activities or interests and try to buy something that i think they would enjoy, or didnt think of getting.
hard to explain, but I like gifts that show the person knows me a bit, be it handmade or store bought.
but of course for guys like me, that can be the gf in just saran wrap

if we are talking about a girl, for most girls the INTENTIONS and good ideas are more important than the gift itself.
Speaking of dinners... red roses, dinner near the sea, innocent and not-so-innocent flirting and soft music in the backgroud... yuck. Hate that. I'd go for a picnic wiuth fruits and cheese in a quiet place, on the floor..things like that. I hate cliches.

Something crafted by myself, is definately out of the picture...as i am anti-talented.
I knew comeing here to solve my problem, wasnt the best idea in the world, but hey, gotta try.
But hey..i found out shes very very into this saffire necklace/earring set... her bestfriend told me (shes my girl on the inside...) Thank god i get paid twice before her birthday...
I dunno why im tellin ya'll this...i guess its the least i could do, for you guys trying to help me out in my time of need.

…ok, this might be a mistake, but all I have to say, is that you two care about each other so much, there is no need for you two to buy each other a thing that you don’t want to…some small gifts is an occasional bonus, the core of a relationship is the heart, and commitment, not the material wealth…just spend as much possible time with her, that you want to give up…don’t give in more to her than you want…make sure that you don’t go to all possible lengths, sacrificing everything, to meet her needs and wants…if you plan to stay together, even separating as merely friends, it’s not a good idea to set yourself up as someone that would spend their entire life savings, just to get someone some jewelry, or any other generally useless trinkets…be kind and giving, but if you go overboard, someone is bound to try and take advantage of you, no matter what your relationship…just be yourself, and make it obvious what type of person you are, however obvious and silly it may appear to be at times…just reinforce the fact that you love hear as dear as you value life. There is no greater gift greater in all the world, such as true love.
...as usual, that's my nearly useless 1.9 cents for you...

Can you sing? Or can you dance? Or can you play a musical instrument? Or all three? Then simply play/sing happy birthday to her (alternately perform an irish jig if you have no musical talent), and then take her out to a dinner of her choice with flowers (they like that) and tell her how much she means to you.
