When you win...
People tend to think that when they win, the reason is they're simply the best. Yeah, and if they lose, they lose because of some external factors - "I was unlucky"; "My border was Titans", etc
It's just a part of the human nature - one can hardly declare loss because of his/her mistakes or just playing foolishly.
To prove me wrong, you could post some replies explaining the games you were most disadvantaged by the generator.

Thats interesting observation as its true. People like to cast the blame on something else but not themselfs.
If you really want to see where is the falt - you should replay your game save by save with different strategies, like one time you get the cons thats far away, the other time you dont waste time and etc.
Ofcource, there is games where there is nothing you can do, absolutelly nothing. But they are small percentege from all games.

You are mostly right. But there are players, that analyse their own mistakes after the game. It helps them to improve, and some of them become really good
