Loxodon is easily blasted and still needs to be equipped.  Troll ascetic is nice but loses to both the Swiftblade and the Watchwolf.

My Turn 2 is Watchwolf or a Swiftblade.  Turn 3 is an Armadillo Cloak.  Turn 4 is a Rumbling Slum or a Might of Oaks on an Armadilloed Swfitblade and it's gg.  Sure a few of them can get hit but I believe in the power of their economy so much I think they're overpowering.

Nm the Mana Birds and Armageddons and Swords to Plowshares and Disenchants I'm laced with.

Maybe I should duel you some time Wookie.  Only, should you lose 2 out of 3 to me you will have to cut your hair you nappy headed elf.

Oh hey, Gootchie man is getting all agressive and pwnsy over a card game. Cute.

Now, point A: until we decide on a format to discuss strategy, no reasonable conclusion can be had, because now I could just say Black Lotus + Mox Ruby + Channel + Fireball, which wins on my first turn unless you've got Force of Will or Pact of Negation, the latter being useless in the situation if you don't have a first turn win yourself.

Point B: Your version runs three colors. Good luck getting the reliability of monocolor, even with a $200 manabase.

Point C: By the remark about Loxodon Warhammer being easily blasted, I assume you run maindeck artifact removal, which is plain damn silly unless you mean Putrefy. But that, of course, would put you in a fourth color.

And back to the beginning, I'd suggest toning down a bit. After all, it's just a card game.

Provided of course that by some miraculous luck that you draw said cards anyway =oP~

I used to play quite often and had an extremely good Saproling deck based on Priestess of Titania's, Verdoloths, and.... erm... forgot the name of another ancient treefolk legend that had a cost of 3 to pump out Saprolings like no tomorrow... Having a bunch of cheap elves for a mana source to get a Verdie or that other bloody card on a person's 3rd turn really left a memorable impression on opponents faces!

With Verdie's passive, all Sappies get +1/+1 while.... I think the other one's name was Maneta or something like that... Grove Gaurdian something.... had her 1 green 2 generic sappy cost and a passive abiltiy to sacrifice a sappy to give all other's a +1/+1 counter till end of turn.... Make a bunch, sacrifice them, cast overrun and viola! Lots of pain from lots of mana!

Provided of course that you get the cards when you need em of course!

I don't own a Lotus and I long since sold my moxes.  Anyway, I laugh at Channel/Fireball combos.  What's more interesting to me is Lure of Prey/Autocthon Wurm.  Most of the games I play are multiplayer and the table is mighty unforgiving towards those who only have one life left.

I will agree about three colors being touchy.  Normally I would play green/white armageddon but the Rumbling Slums remind me so much of my beloved Juzams I just had to include them.

Btw, monos are for pantywaists and easily sideboarded against.

There is nothing wrong with maindeck Disenchant.  The versatility of artifact and enchantment removal for 2 cost(easily handled by manabirds and manaelves) is I think sound enough.

And kiss my big watoosie if you think I'll ever listen to you.  I don't listen to anyone whose hair weighs more than they do.

So you only post here to see yourself post? Hooray for low self esteem!

Also, your post shows lots about your conversation skills. You toss insults at me because what I say is irrelevant in your metagame and prefered format, of which you had previously said nothing. Also, statements along the lines of "monos are for pantywaists" are the difference between a respectable person and a troll.

Please at least specify the topic before attempting to prove that I know nothing about it, even if that's as close to civil conversation as you could possibly get.

Hi,

As mentioned before, I am sorta stuck in this game ( read even before really getting into the game ). I really think this game is something for me. I have read up on all the links given here ( and in VW ) - Seen the YouTube videos... still I am lost.
I am here :
I would like a small guide ( 1 step at the time ) to what I do here
I have tried to play- tap - declare war .... then I am lost and loses x amount of life according to my tapped cards/lands...

DO not tap lands that you wont use. Any surplus mana at the end of your turn means you take that amount of damage.
Unfortunately i played that long time ago so cant do turn by turn guide. Awaiting for Woock

I personally have that game. Its very old and allow me to point out something. That is a computer game and not the actual game. But I can help with it.

First a few questions, do you know how to play Magic in its real world form? If not, then I'll give you a brief rundown. Good? Just answer me that. Perhaps we should go incognito by HCM learning.

Hi,

- I have never played this in RL - I am only after the comp version ( play wise ). My version is the one I mentioned in my previous post.
I would like a run-down though, but HCM would be flooded ...( read all MY questions ) If you could make a step by step ( say white card only - Just an example ) guide and mail it to me, I'd really appreciate that

Wizard's Announcement: The upcoming set, Shards of Alara, is going to change how new sets are introduced. Look here for more details! I think it'll be great. In addition, the number of cards printed per year is going to be reduced do to a rush of new sets.

Yes. If a card is legal in a tournament, you can use any previous printing of the card. If you use Alpha cards, however, you'd either need sleeves or a deck consisting exclusively of Alpha cards because they have square corners.
