Unless its a Darksteel Card. Ha. But, unlikely. The only thing in rotation right now (As of Shards) that gives indestructible is Elspeth and Shield of the Oversoul i do believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, well that's the "else". So, I love all the Milling cards in Alara. Here's my top five of all the set..
I love Cathartic Adept and Memory Erosion; they're goin straight into my main deck. Mindlock Orb will be killer with the whole milling deck. Elspeth to my RW Knights to join Ajani (Goldmane). Punish Ignorance just because I love the flavor.

A short question and hope for a quick answer (as in within the day):
About how long does an eight-man booster draft take? I'm considering going to a triple Shards draft tomorrow, but I've got all sorts of other things to do on that day.
I've played exactly one draft before, triple Lorwyn, and all I remember was playing Merfolk and losing terribly.

drafts take a LONG time , a 8 man draft (drafting the cards) would probly take 40 - an hour , makeing the deck would not be as long , but would still be like 30 minuts. and then playing would be the rest... hope i helped

I agree speculation is running wild already, the set is going to be hyped before the first cards r spoiled...
Anyway what do you all think of the new planeswalkers?
I only tested ajani as of yet and even he seems to be pretty ok.
Rest of them r said to be really powerful but I didn't get around to testing them as of yet.

My favorite is probably Tezzeret, he diabolic tutors artifacts, which is a handy tool for, say, Lich's Mirror.
I got my first Alara Cards today. And I was surprised at what I got...Sedris, the Traitor King. And Kederekt Leviathan. Yay.

lol its around $10 currently but prices will probably change anyway after the first constructed tournaments.
Sarkan vol is also very powerful, like a souped up version of fires of yavimaya will probably see a lot of play in standard, maybe a bit hyped.
Tezzeret seems more of an legacy/vintage card perhaps extended affinity will run it.. I also like it a lot though, fits very well in my arcum dagson EDH deck
Traded one for an Elsbeth and a crap rare.

I'm looking forward to Nicol Bolas in Conflux. I think he'll do something with Jund colors, and have a hand destruction/major burn uber ability.
But, to Alara, I absolutely love Kederekt Leviathan. Combine him with a Blink deck, preferably Flickerwisp, then you've got a heavy chain hitter.
Play the big Beasty using unearth (discard or kill it the first time). Attack with it. Then Flickerwisp it, and it forgets that it was unearthed, and it returns Flickerwisp to the hand. Immortal Leviathan!

sith unearth causes the card to be removed from the game at Eot and whenever it would leave play.

Okay, here's the secret:
Unearth says "remove it from the game at end of turn or if it would leave play". But, Flickerwisp forces it to come back, so Flickerwisp's effect overrides Unearth. Since this happens, Kederekt Leviathan is already back in play, so it cannot be send back out of play.

Yeah it works Nice one
@sith, seems more likely he will have grixis colors since original nicol bolas had those colors.
Also all the shards have the same colors as the dragon elder legends,
chromium fits esper very well:

The Alara draft didn't go very well, but at least I saw how fun the Esper plane can be.
With three Puppet Conjurers, two Glaze Fiends, two Etherium Sculptors and two Deathgreeters, as well as that rare archdemon that zombifies nonzombie creatures, I had what it took to build a very synnergistic deck, but I included a suboptimal amount of Islands, not having considered the Conjurer's activated ability in counting the apropriate mana base.
Also, Brilliant Ultimatum wasn't that great.
EDIT: And I'm not entirely sure about that unearth/flickerwisp trick.
First you unearth the fatty, presumably swing and then play flickerwisp. This triggers the CIP ability, so you attempt to RFG the Leviathan, but the flickerwisp RFG effect probably gets trumped by the unearth replacement effect RFG, which doesn't return it to play afterwards.
I could be wrong though.
Also, where do you get the mana to play both on the same turn? Unearthing the Leviathan still costs an arm and a leg.

I looked it up... turns out a replacement effect doesn't work if it's trying to replace something with the same thing.
* If a creature returned to play with unearth would leave play for any reason, it's removed from the game instead -- unless the spell or ability that's causing the creature to leave play is actually trying to remove it from the game! In that case, it succeeds at removing it from the game. If it later returns the creature card to play (as Oblivion Ring or Flickerwisp might, for example), the creature card will return to play as a new object with no relation to its previous existence. The unearth effect will no longer apply to it.
