Which MTG categori do you all play in/with? ?
Standard, Extended or what ever the names is?
Cuz, i just found out yesterday that my only chances in a tournament is by playing: Legacy or Vintage.. I have cards from arround 12 difrent packs!

I play in standard legal which consists of the following Blocks (currently):
-Tenth Edition
-Lorwyn/Morningtide
-Shadowmoorr/Eventide
-Shards of Alara/(Conflux)
Extended right now I think is back to Ravnica i think.
Legacy is everything right? I don't know what Vintage is.

How is it to play with only cards from among thoose sets?
I just found the rules 13 days ago! And that was way too late to play most of the games cuz of the mixed cards!

Actually, Standard Legal keeps obsolete cards out and forces the players to explore the newer mechanics and decksets. Like my Bant deck, which features the Empyrial Archangel.

As long as I've been playing it, Legacy had NO restricted cards so you'd better double-check this.
Also, I find it the bets format due to unlimited possibilities of deck creations and resonable game balance. In T2 it's too slow, in T1 everyone has to stop combo running turn 2- Extended is just handicapped twin of Legacy, so don't bother with it.

Legacy indeed doesn't have a restricted list. It has lots of banned cards though.
Vintage has a much shorter banned list and a significant restricted list.

You can always look up your cards on Gatherer. You can see which of the cards that are allowed in standard, and which that isn't.

Ha, you people should take a look at this article on MTGSalvation. Some of the cards look pretty sick, and some of them are cruel. Some of the cards may be the truth, but don't count on it!

Ad Nauseam
So I came up with an idea for a deck based around this single card. It shouldn't be hard to stay with me on this deck idea.
Ad Nauseam
Well you don't have to pay any life if the card you reveal has zero converted casting cost. So what does that mean? You can draw as many lands as you want and anything with either no casting cost, or zero casting cost.
At first I was thinking, tons of lands, along with Lightning Storm or Seismic Assault
But then I decided on something a little more elegant. Why not go with tons of zero mana artifacts? But then what? Well you can do a lot of things with 20 artifacts on the board. I've found some possible uses.
Grinding Station
Arcbound Ravager
But now let's look at the things that are useful zero mana spells.
Chalice of the Void
Tormods Crypt
Spellbook
If getting low on life, there's always some life gain cards.
Zuran Orb
Claws of Gix
Finally there's numerous mana acceleration cards available...
Jeweled Amulet
Lions Eye Diamond
Lotus Pedal
Paradise Mantle
Dark Ritual
There's a two creatures for zero mana that you can use with Paradise Mantle or blocking.
Ornithopter
Phyrexian Walker
Finally after you sac all your artifacts, why not do it all over again?
Feldons Cane
So that's the basic idea of the deck. It's still rather untested. The real issue will be drawing through the deck and not dying if your opponent has already hacked away at your life total. 5 damage every time you catch an ad nauseam. I've been considering replacing 3 of the ad nauseam with vampiric tutor or demonic tutor.
I haven't figured out good metagame cards as of yet.
If anyone has some suggestions, let me know.

The creatures wouldn't do damage.
The idea of the deck is that Ad Nauseam will draw your entire deck.
You play all of your 0 mana artifacts and sac them to grinding station putting your opponent's library into his graveyard. Tormod's Crypt then removes his library from the game. He has to draw a card the next turn and loses.
