I'm going to the mall tommorrow to get some conflux packs, i'm prob going to post what i got here Thankfully staying under a rock is much easier when you don't visit their site.

Did you all hear about the miniboosters they'll be selling in supermarkets starting with Conflux? What's HC's general opinion on the subject?

You can read all about it here. Basically it's a half-priced pack containing six cards. One basic land, three commons, an uncommon and one card of random rarity. And the tip/token card, of course.

Imho, I think they're a great idea. Several times i've had a couple bucks that i just had layin around, so i'd usually just buy a pack of gum or something, but the potential to get Progenitus for two bucks, hey, I'm up for that. I like the idea.
Btw, anybody go to the Launch Parties?

I'm hopin a return to Mirrodin, ever since Darksteel Garrison in Future Sight. But, considering the close proximity to all-artifact Esper, I'd say Dominaria would be the fallback plan. Frankly, I'd like to keep the new planes coming.

My mythic was child of alara... i could make a neat little deck rotating around it and persist but...i lack cards that grant persist... for now it is in my 5 color jund.
casual mostly using the thrinax bro's in synergy... stalking vengeance is also a new addition... it's looking nice so far.

Nice, the Child's one of the lesser one's i'd get. The Mythics i'm shootin for are the Maelstrom Angel and Ethersworn Adjudicator. Of course, Nicol is a nice one too.
5 Color Jund...I'd guess some Spore Bursts and Exploding Borders wouldn't hurt. Others would be the Scourge of the Nobilis, Gift of the Deity, and the Runes of the Deus. I'd say that the Diety of Scars would be your best Demigod. And a good ole Vigor doesn't hurt.

i'd rather have a progenitus(Favorite creature type) or the worldheart Pheonix(Next favorite) I'm saitisfied with it... i found a really good synergy between the thrinaxes.

Hah. Sacrifice the Sprouting and its Saprolings for a 6/6 Scarland Thrinax. That's a nice deck to go with, here's some more Synergystic Cards.
- Tukatongue Thallid: Same situation as the Sprouting Thrinax
- Maybe Rakka Mar: 1 red for a 3/1 shaman then sacrifice it if its on its deathbed.
- Soul's Majesty, but that's given
- A Wall of Reverence could give you a nice advantage for emergencies.
- As you sac, Hissing Iguanar can damage
- Kresh can benefit from the Scarland Thrinax, then Fate Transer those counters off it onto the Thrinax.
- Necrogenesis turns those corpses into more food for the Thrinax
- Just for more +1/+1 counter themes, Feral Hydra couldn't hurt, nor can that Apocalypse one.
Just some suggestions for some nice synergies.

yeah right now i only have stalking vengeance... its a wincon when i have the amount of damage required. i can sacrifice the bloated up thrinax to itself and stalking vengeance will deal damage from other sac'd creatures and from the thrinax.
feral hydra is in there, so is necrogenesis...
I'm probably going to develop a deck around it sometime... its mostly revolve around using hissing iguanar or stalking vengeance + sac outlets as a wincon.
edit: i'd like a return to kamigawa, but with less of the inclusiveness.(Yknow how the kamigawa cards just didn't mesh into the rest of the magic multiverse. mechanicwise and flavorwise)

Please put a comment on my elf deck! I have only lost one time with this deck, and that was in a 2 on 1 match.
It's based on tokens, mass elf army.
LANDS:
17 forests
1 Wirewood Logde
CREATURES:
2 Llanowar Elves (To produce xtra mana)
1 Elvish Warrior
1 Wirewood Herald (Search for a good elf)
2 Wellwisher (Can give tons of life when i have a lot of tokens)
1 Wren's Run Vanquisher
1 Wood Elves
1 Elvish harbringer (Mana, and search for elf)
2 Imperious Perfect (Boosts elves, and can add tokens) Very usefull
2 Jagged-Scar Archers (Power, can be insanely strong)
1 Elvish Champion (Boosts elves, and gives all forestwalk)
2 Drove of Elves (Power, can be insanely strong too, and with shroud)
1 Heedless One (Power, Trample)
2 Lys Alana Huntmaster (Token add) Very usefull
1 Ambush Commander (Opponents can get quite a surprise)
1 Voice of the Woods (Can create sick tokens, by tapping other tokens)
3 Allosaurus Rider
1 Rhys the Redeemed (Can add tokens, many tokens) Very very usefull
1 Rootbreaker Wurm (Strengh)

SORCERIES:
1 Toil to Renown
1 Recolllect (Just awesome if you lose something good)
1 Elvish Promenade (Save it for the right moment) Very usefull
1 Dosan's Oldest Chant
4 Howl of the night pack (Tokens! Very good combined with Rhys)
INSTANTS:
1 Nourish
1 Heal the Scars
ENCHANTMENTS:
3 Epic Proportions (Very good, but expensive! Flash helps on it)
ARTIFACTS:
1 Clod Key (Great if you choose creatures)
1 Dolmen Gate (Awesome! That's the moment you should attack.)
This is my best deck, and it works!
The highest ammount of tokens i have played with was:
52 Elf warrior tokens "2/2 because of imperious perfect!"
and 26 Wolf tokens "2/2"
and 4 Elemental tokens "7/7""Trample"
This deck is weak againt black players with Ęther Snap and/or Stronghold Dicipline..
