Which would also tie into pirates and the lizard-like imperiosaur and stuff. Quite the possibility.

It is likely that Wizards put Imperiosaur and Pirates on the same plane. Consider the flavor text of Muraganda Petroglyphs:
Quote:
Some mages forsake their scrolls and libraries to learn at the feet of ancient trees and sacred stones.

If there is Imperiosaur, there are libraries. If there are libraries, there is wealth. If there is wealth, and at least one oceanic trade route, there will be pirates.

EDIT: This logic only holds if Muraganda Petroglyph's flavor text refers to its homeworld, not to Dominaria during Time Spiral. This is true for Mistmeadow skulk, but not for Graven Cairns or Phosphorescent Feast. By this count, 66% chance I'm wrong and Pirates never heard of Muraganda.

There's also a big chance that we have no idea what muraganda is. Or if its even in Zendikar. however, there is a good chance, and I like how you employ deduction a lot in an argument.

There are several other quite viable Futureshifted cards to use. Perhaps Steamflogger Boss will finally have even the slightest use. Maybe Shah of Naar Isle, which is good, because waters with Pirates or Libraries need Isles. And Efreets are very flavorful. Also, look to the background. It has Taj design, which also contributes to the exotic treasures Zendikar supposedly has.

I'd like Arcanum Wings to come back into standard, or at least an Auraswap card.

Maybe Granduer cards will finally become something. If you think about it, enormous wealth is the product of delusions to granduer.

Just some of my thoughts, but, hey, I'm neither clairvoyant nor prophetic.

"Nemesis of Reason" sounds like a very very insane card!
That, in the same deck wit some "Glimpse the Unthinkable", and some "Traumatize" and much more cards that kills librarys....

That is evil, and it works...

----

I'm trying to make a deck based on mono white, or white / Blue... And i whant the deck to be Legacy/Vintage...
I was thinkin of making a destroy everything deck... Most destroy lands... But i'm not shure if the process goes very well...

Here are some cards i was thinkin of:
- Armageddon and Crucible of Worlds are some cards i have to use..
- Ghostly Prison: So i can survive more time..
- Magus of the Tabernacle: To keep the oppoent use his/her mana on theire creatures, so they have an even smaller chance to pay the attack cost if i have Ghostly prison out..
- Magus of the Moat: Maybe useless, but i was thinkin of him..
- Hallow: I need this because of my play-mate has a red burn/goblin deck
- Planar Collapse: To get rid of the creatures
- Sunscour: To get rid of the creatures
- Purity: Expensive, but it fits the theme..?
- Hunted Lammasu: He is good if i use magus of the moat, but can be canceled..

So, any ideas? Coemments? Cuz i whont buy this if it doesn't work at all... I have some doubts about it..

@Gnu - You've got a good what I call "camel and the eye" deck, something that has a very low chance your opponent will ever make off any damage at all. But alt win games will kill you, so make sure you're prepared for that. The thing about lockdown decks: they seem to get thrown off by the Red/Black chaos decks or the mill decks. Discards, stuff like that. So maybe some countermagic just enough to keep em of your back. If you can get a Countryside Crusher or something else that can feed of some lands/other creatures, that deck with the Crucible and somekind of land martyrs would be good. You can always draw out splashed colors by mana sifting obelisks or arties or lands. Mono white lockdowns problem is that it has no win con, so make sure you add one one way or the other.

Alara Reborn

Take a look at this one:

Very nice. Feeling like a sphinx tribal anyone? Like an Akroma plated with etherium and turned a lot more cool.

Yes, Nemesis of Reasons art looks great, and he'll love being equipped with the Helm of the Ghastlord with Deepchannel Mentor.

I particularly like Cascade as a mechanic. It'll be great with burn decks and land fetching. Hopefully they make a mana fixer with cascade, that'd be great. Pair it with conspire or flashback and you've got some evil stuff goins on.

Tabernacle + Armageddon + Flagstones of Trokair = hilarious

Crucible/Armageddon is pretty annoying as well.

Ha, that's a nice deck idea. Build up to Armageddon with the Crucible in play, and have stuff like Rites of Fluorishing. Or better yet, after armageddon gets out, somehow get an Upwelling out and keep your mana in reserve with other mana bursts after, and maybe even before, Armageddon. You've got an interesting setup that way.

I didn't think of Flagstones of Trokair.. That's a great idea! The Flagstones is just so expensive..

Thanks ;p The upwelling idea is good, then the deck could be white/green based, which allows me to use "Hunting Grounds" and some strong finishers after armageddon ;p

EDIT:
4 Armageddon - White - Destroy all lands
3 Ghostly Prison - White - It cost 2 mana for each creature to attack me
4 Crucible of Worlds - None - I can play lands from my graveyard
2 Panglacial Wurm - Green - To have a strong finisher
3 Hunting Grounds - White/Green - To get expensive creatures on the field faster
2 Upwelling - Green - Combine with armageddon and a finisher
2 Avatar of Might - Green - A strong finisher more, and is cheap when your opponents are flowing in creat
2 Armadillo Cloak - White/Green - Boost a finisher
2 Nature's Blessing - White/Green - Discard some lands and make strong creatures
2  Heroes' Reunion - White/Green - Get 7 life
2 Hymn of Rebirth - White/Green - Pick any creature that's dead
2 Ivory Mask - White - I get shroud
4 Knight of the Reliquary - Green/White - Strong after armageddon
2 Phytohydra - Green/White - Great blocker
2 Sunscour - White - Destroy all creatures

12 Plains
10 Forests

1 Fastbond would be pretty cool too ;p But it's 6,25 dollars for each on Cardkingdom, and 6 dollars on Starcity... I just don't trust Starcity! Cardkingdoms international shipping is more thrustworthy than starcitys! Why the hell is it restricted in vintage?

Halfway off-topic:
Spoiling the cards before Wizards does makes me MAD!!!!

I think that everyone should be on equal footing on prerelease day. They give us extra time for a reason! I will accept Wizards official spoiler because they mostly do rares anyway and everyone gets the same list, hence: equal preparation.

Those pirate sites make me MAD!!!! because it's a violation of the spirit of the prerelease. Certain people have an advantage, that's not how Sealed Deck is supposed to work. In addition, they're denying people like me the genuinely enjoyable experience of opening up a pack of true mystery cards, reading them in my hands for the first time, soaking in the flavor... :

@pirates
Shame on you pirates for doing that to me.

EDIT: Actually, no pirates are posting here yet, so I guess I overreacted a little.

You can always see all of the cards the day before the prerelease. I've looked at all of the cards the night before on magiccards.info for the past like 6 or 7 editions...

They posted conflux on beta gatherer the night before as well. Hate to tell ya, but you are like getting mad only out of ignorance.

They only do that because by ~9PM here in USA, MTGers in Japan have already finished with the prerelease tomorrow and they're all over the net spilling beans anyways. Damn time-travelers.

Well if you aren't from Japan, then why do you care?

Btw I wouldn't go to a prerelease without seeing the cards first. You are already over paying for your cards. You might as well try to make sure you at least win a couple extra packs.

Plus sealed tournament suck balls anyway. It's all about getting lucky and getting the best cards in the set. Draft on the other hand requires a lot of skill. You need to judge cards correctly, figure out what colors the other players are going and finally work well with the other people at the table so you can stick to 1 or 2 colors as your base.
