Yes, but this one dies to everything. Popular reanimation targets come with built-in protection: Empyrial Archangel; Iona, Shield of Emeria; Sphinx of the Steel Wind; Inkwell Leviathan.
In addition, it's difficult to reanimte and hard to cast.

Most creatures criticized for dying to removal, however, have:
- no evasion
- no form of protection from removal
- no immediate effect
- a high mana cost
Sure, it dies to any old Terror, but is still better than Meglonoth and other silly beatsticks because it is card advantage from the get-go.

Is the fastest way to get this damn creature out by using elvish piper or am i wrong?
Cuz, Dramatic entrance doesn't work :S
And you can't use Master Transmuter..
You can't even get it buried and raised to the field..
...
But when you get it out, you should at least have a Whispersilk Cloak to make him harder to kill

I was thinking more along the lines of using urzatron and the locus's to get him out... splash a little green for land tricks and i think he would make a fun casual deck.

Am currently entertaining the idea of a Pauper deck based on using Violent Outburst to cascade into Treasure Hunt, drawing a ton of cards with it (due to running 40 lands or so) and finishing with a Spiraling Embers. I'm afraid it might not be good for the local meta though. At today's Pauper tournament I saw one Mono Blue Control, one Freed Combo (heavy on counterspells), one Mystical Teachings, two affinity decks and two burn decks.
EDIT: I was at a fantasy convention this weekend and I took my stack o' cards along. It was quite popular among the casual mtg players I met there and we played some crazy games. With 5 players though, it took REALLY long. One particularly memorable moment was casting Death Denied for 5 and then getting hit by an Identity Crisis before my next turn, pushing me into topdeck mode for the rest of the game. Another one was getting my Hellkite Charger countered by Overwhelming Intellect. I also traded for some inclusions to the stack: Eternal Dragon, Font of Mythos, Fight to the Death, Enslave, Barter in Blood and Invincible Hymn (still not certain if this is a safe addition - opinions?).

Actually, the stack is currently 330 cards or so, so the card would most likely change the caster's life total to somewhere between 200 and 300.

Do so, it's great fun. Although with mine, the optimal number of players appears to be 3. With more players, the game usually turns into an unresolvable stalemate. Perhaps more mass removal would fix this - currently, in 330 cards, my only mass removal is: Major Teroh (kinda), Brightflame, Sulfurous Blast, Swirling Sandstorm, Incremental Blight (not so "massive" in this format), Barter in Blood, Windstorm, Steam Blast, Final Revels, Hibernation (again, kinda), Rough/Tumble, Fight to the Death, Lavaball Trap. That's 13/330 of the stack and each of them has significant limitations as to what it can take down. (Then again, there's also some good repeatable removal like Vein Drinker)
I guess I'll be on the lookout for cheap Wrath variants like Planar Cleansing and whatnot. I mean, just about every block had one and most of them should be pretty cheap to get, and each one would quicken the stack's gameplay.

Well, I know about the format from this article, which I linked to two pages ago. I don't know of a definite rules source.
The way I play it is pretty straight-forward:
- there is a common library
- there is a common graveyard
- the library contains no lands; instead, there are five piles of basic lands set aside
- when drawing a card, the player decides between drawing from the library or drawing a land from outside the game
As for my stack's contents:
- there are no cards that exclusively mill or mill a lot as a side-effect (there are, however, two Looter variants)
- there are no search effects (I'm the only one with a good idea of what's in the stack, so one being played would usually halt the game for quite a long time; I did include one repeatable "search for a land" effect, since in this format that doesn't require touching the library at all)
- there are no cards which cause rules problems with a common library and graveyard (indeterminable ownership prevents the inclusion of Open the Vaults; I'm on the fence about blink effects)
- there are no cards with inapropriately cumbersome mana costs (like Maga, Traitor to Mortals; Brightflame, however, has proven worthy of its tricky cost; this is also the reason why I'm skeptic about including the Shadowmoor demigods)
- add landwalk sparingly, as it's straight out unblockability most of the time
EDIT: I just saw that the article mentions playing "a chunk" of the stack as the library in any single game, whereas I've been playing with the whole stack as said library. Oh well, it's been working out fine so far Mostly because the stack portrayed on the photos in the article is several times larger than mine, I expect.

i'd probably put some nonbasic lands that do things other than produce mana in this format... like quicksand.
i've always wanted to utilize many of the odd and strange singles.

Another card I'm not certain about is Kor Duelist. There are only 11 equipments in my stack, and one of them grants defender, so the guy is rarely relevant, but when he gets something to play with, he really shines. One game he got equipped with No-Dachi, but when that got blasted, he picked up a Gorgon Flail instead. That kept us on our toes for a while.
I guess it can be made less swingy by either removing the Duelist or adding more equipment, and I think the latter might be preferable.

Yeah there's a reason he's not an artifact creature. It would make urzatron decks obsurdly overpowered.
