from what i hear on the edh section of the site jhoira tends to draw ire.
Suspending a turn 4 obliterate and emrakul doesn't make you the most loved deck.

Went to a 5-man draft (couldn't find more people) at a convention last weekend. Finished second-last, but made off with Fauna Shaman and Leyline of Anticipation in the rare redraft because only one other guy knew the former was worth something and he hoped to have it wheel back. Them two ought to pay for tomorrow's draft handily!
EDIT: That other draft has come and gone, so it's decklist time!

Finished fourth out of nine, losing in the final round to a guy who consistently played fifth turn Baneslayer Angels. Pulled a Dragonskull Summit and Nantuko Shade along the way, which hopefully will cover my expenses.

Today's Magic Arcana announced the impending release of Event Decks - competitive 60 card decks, Standard legal, complete with 15 card sideboards.
Looks like the ancient cry of "they're building our decks for us!" finally is justified.
Smells like trouble is all I want to say.

New goal: build a deck around Ashling's Prerogative and Primal Forcemage. So far I'm thinking picking 'even' and generating lots and lots of tokens. Hasty, +3/+3 tokens. Also maybe effecient two-drops. Hasty, +3/+3 two-drops. With a Wolfbriar Elemental finish.

I'm Back
Lol don't believe this thread is still going along. I remember making replies back on page 1&2 but haven't read beyond the end of page 2.
I actually just got a notice a week or so ago that my Wizards Magic ID had recently expired due to lack of playing. I stopped pretty much when they changed the rules around so more kids could play. You know where they changed combat and stacking affects all around and made it really anoying.
Been playing a MMoRPG called Ragnorok lately and am enjoying it. Still play Heroes 3 for fun every week min.
