Hmmm...If you can get your hands on a Guilt-leaf Archdruid, then you've got a set for some pretty nasty stampings. Add in some smaller elves (Llanowar Elf and Devoted Druid helps, nice and cheap). Some helper cards (Bramblewood Paragon) or some Treefolk (Ambassador Oak) can weave around the Branchbender (pun intended). Apparantly the Wizards Gatherer is down with the site change, so it might not process your searches. But, any big synergy with Forests and Lands helps. Just find some nice things and maybe a couple Overruns and then you've got a nice Elf Aggro deck.

Pinkman11#
I have many good suggestions! An elf deck is one of the top 10 best deck constructions!

1# 2/5 Land! works great, and some elfes that can add mana with tap
-Lianowar Elves is a good way to add mana, and get cheap blockers..

2# Elfes that can give all other elfes boost in counters:
-Imperious Perfect is the best

3# Many cheap creatures to have a good start!
-Wren's Run Vanquisher is cheap and usefull

4# Don't forget strong creatures too! You need something to attack opponents with that don't just die all the time..
-Allosaurus Rider, Drove of Elves, Heedless One, and ofcourse some wyrms or spiders! Elfes don't really have that many strong creatures.

5# Elfes/forest is a little weak in keeping life points up! You can't do much against direct player damage :S So good life boosters is a must have here
-Essence Warden, Elvish Eugolist, Blossoming Wreath, Wellwisher, Toil to Renown and Nourish is just a small section of good ways to gain life! I have many more life cards! I think its the key to last long and win the battle combined with tokens!

6# To have even bigger chances of winning the game is tokens! Lots of tokens!
-Howl of the Night Pack is mostly important here
-Voice of the Woods is much important too
-Elvish Promenade is a must have combined with Ambush Commander.
-And after that, you need the most important and awesome card with tokens Rhys the Redeemed is just the greatest!

(I had 28 tokens in play once! And with rhys's ability this gave me total 56 tokens And 6 of them where 7/7 with trample, and 18 of them where 2/2, and the rest 1/1.. But then one of my imperious perfects came into play! The all got the bonus on +2/+2.. My friends whont play agaisnt me when i use my elf deck any more hehe)

7# Your keys to victory..
I'll not reveal my secret keys to victory! You must find your own!
I have some awesome kickass cards to win..
Even though section #6 is the key itself!

Sith#
It shure could be fun yeah! Too bad with that internet conection :S
Hmm, thats actually a great idea But how the **** should we do that?

Now, if you get the Spirit of the Hearth, you can beat a Dimir Deck easily. And preventing damage helps too. Because most of the Dimir relies on their damage translating to Milling. And their direct decking options don't work if you have Shroud or half-Shroud.

Hm...Land Destruction's pretty nasty, but if you have Negates and Counterspells, you can deflect most of the Destroyers. But, with Stingmoggie and Faultgrinder, you may have some troubles. With Land Destroying, its better to stop the spells than recover from them. So...if your playing a green deck, your inherent Mana Acceleration should keep you alive (Llanowar Elves and your Rampant Growths).

Rainbow decks (hopefully not Sunburst) need a lot of different mana into their coffers, so they can get stalled easily. Play this to your advantage.

yes the dimir isnt quite a dimir , but has alot of dimir cards , also has laylan of singularity and a 7/7 black trample that comes n2 play for 2 mana , i for get the card.... the land desto is just annoying..
and the rainbow , allthough it isnt a sunburst , it is nasty , with prismatic omen , last stand , and coalation victory...

I hope the rainbow doesn't have Legacy Weapon or Door to Nothingness. That's killer. Just use a lot of Artifact removal to swamp him. Smash to Smithereens is a fun artifact sweeper that penalizes your opponent. Mizzium Transreliquat's can be cool too. They can copy for the short term or the long term. Turns his best weapons against him.

pinkman!:
I'd love to hear how to make that many mana
-- If you manage to make Drove of Elves indestructible, and/or give him forestwalk or what ever your opponents control
That would be nasty!

Sith# That's a cool combo! The only thing needed is the Shield of Kaldra artifact! Then it's a complete chaos machine!

Pink# Infinite mana! That's a very cool and awesome combination!
The only thing wrong is that Argothian Elder isn't legal in standard! But i don't have to tell my opponents that Thanks man! really cool!

my "cousin" has an "issue" whenever he loses to me one on one he cries and shuts me out. he uses name calling, screaming, and on occasion taking my deck and hiding it. quite recently my mom was home and now I'm not allowed to play with him. he shuts people out when they talk about his weaknesses and i need to know what to do...

Thats more of a psychological problem. He's just a sore loser. he must think you'd go easy on him or give him the better deck. In reality, no deck is better than the other. They all have their weaknessess. Tell him that its okay to lose, just learn what went wrong and see what you can do improve.

we made our own decks and he was using a goblin deck i was using b/w flanking(need 4 sidewinder slivers).
itwas pretty one sided as his deck has one (fodder launch) removal* and few offensive spells (tarfire, hatchet bully, kokoshu)

i have 2 sudden death, 4 unmake, archon of justice, devour in shadow, soul snuffers, voidstone gargoyle) ironically he won the last two games\
