Just as one of the many rounds is coming to an end, the quiz itself is on the same route. Evaporating into air, so many thoughts of ours leave our minds and settle down somewhere beyond our world. Same thing happens with the lore of Heroes... It is created, it is used up, it is placed on the bookshelf... Just like my mindless words.

With this short intro, I am saying that the ToTe quiz is ending. The next round will be the last and you will have your last chances to guess and earn points towards your tally. With many members having a   close amount of points, the competition will get intense as you race to see who is the winner of our long-term competition.

The final round should appear in two to three weeks time. We shall give you the exact dates. Until then, you may read up the manual, look up various information. Remember - you will have to trust your knowledge and count your guesses warily. This round will decide the fate of the competition.

ToEQ Questions: FINAL SHOWDOWN

Welcome to the final round of our quiz! Conversely to what many could have thought at first, the time has come to end the quiz once and for all (namingly, until H6 is released). In any case, we are proud to present the final 20+ question round to you. This round, however, has some new rules so that we can keep track and balance of the competition.

First off, the maximum guess limit for the round is limited to 12.  

Secondly, you are no longer allowed to scatter your answer one by one. By this I mean that your post must contain at least HALF your remaining guesses to be valid. This is caused by the neverending one-liner answers.

Finally, have fun guessing and best of luck! And may the righteous winner hold the crown!

Answers:

1)Magic mirror.
2)Peasants, wights(+upg), rot zombies, storm titan(can water the field with his Storms!)
3)Skeleton warriors, lich and upgs(staff), priest and upgs, druid and upgs(staff), gremlin and upgs(they use their gun as blunt weapons), gargoyle and upgs, bear rider and upgs, rune priest and upgs (the staff), thane, warriors and maulers, brawlers, cyclops and untamed cyclops.
4)Both damage the orcs.
5) Mini artifacts, cart with warmachine skill, righteous might, native terrain, hero stats, Havez.
6)Mask of equity, Dragon Talon Crown, morale arties when you have artifical Glory, Archer's Dream, ring of machine affinity, luck artifacts, ring of celerity.
7)Opponent. He keeps town and can rehire.
8)Use rune of battlerage. Other ways are vampirism or use mountain guards.
9)Marksmens' piercing shot, plague zombies' strike, master of fire, flaming arrows, arcane archers(actually not totally sure about that yet ).
10)nightmare, hell stallion, hell charger, white bear rider, fear my roar, blood raged cyclops, executioner.
11) 500 x 1.5 bloodfire. Memory does not come into effect when you have ultimate, thanks phinex.
12)Have all squares but one around it occupied by either a creature or an obstacle, then occupy the final square with the creature you want to attack it with, then attack.
13)When large unit walks over multiple traps so not all tragger.
14)Barbarians with weapons of might (esp Kragh), rangers with archery dream (esp Wyngaal), Jhora windspeaker.
15)When they attack phantoms.
16)Siren, pigeons, bats, leprechaun, raven, hero mounts, chickens, butterflies
17)Consume artifact, repair, raise dead, guardian angel, phoenix rebirth.
18)Scout, blood fury, minotaur, blade dancer, shaman, golem, rakshasa, spearwielder, berseker, archer, skeleton archer, mage, lich, hunter.
19)shooter vs large shield
 precise shoot vs armoured
 Crippling wound vs dash
 sabotage vs repair
 aura of element vulnerability vs magic proof

20)Death's Embrace. Reduces Initiative (staff + bonus to banshee howl if necro), removing the speed advantage sylvan has. Reduces luck which is a corner stone for sylvan, and morale which makes the units act fewer times.
21)Zoltan's special, creatures left on battlefieled are immune to such spell, you have ran out of mana, did not have skills when learning the spells.
22)Call lightning depends on how fast the titan acts while call storm depends on how fast the units inside it act.

7: the enemy will win becouse he have the town, and will still have the town.

22: Call lightning works immeditaly when the Titan uses it, and Call Storm works at the creatures(that is under the storms) turn

nightmare
whitebear rider
executioner
untamed cyclops.

21: if you visit a mage vault and win you will gain the spell even if you cannot use it. however if you ever gain the requisites you won't learn nor will u be able to cast it.

2: earth elemental

16: pigeons

17: raise dead, consume corpse (lifting the corpse into the air counts right?), divine guidance (?)

4:curse of the netherworld and word of light have the same formula but most importantly they both have pretty people as icons

Peasants (with pitchforks) and wights and their upgrades (all wield a scythe)

Hero's attack stat (normal or boosted through artifacts)
Righteous Might
Mini artifacts made with the "artificer" ability
Havez' gremlin specialization

150 (memory of our blood gives a maximum of 100 which can be multiplied by 1.5 if you have bloodfire, which makes for a maximum of 150)

melee: Have all squares but one around it occupied by either a creature or an obstacle, then occupy the final square with the creature you want to attack it with, then attack.

ranged: occupy all squares around the goblin with either creatures or obstacles, then attack.

I thought goblins also didn't flee if you cast a direct damage spell at it.

Yes, it can drain more HP from stronghold creatures than they have if the stronghold creature has sufficient bloodrage points to absorb a big enough portion of vampires' attack.

I“ll try to answer some question, although i must admit that all my answers are just guesses

11. What is the maximum starting rage a barbarian can achieve without a town?

600 (Memory of our Blood + ultimate), maybe it can be multipled by Bloodfire to 900.


12. How to attack a goblin so as not to flee?

Use ranged attacks or magic, or attack him in a corner where he has nowhere to flee or use Treants with treith binding attack.


20. Which combo artifact is a perfect counter to sylvan? Name it and justify.

I“d guess Armor of Dwarven Kings, all 4 pieces. It automaticaly casts Deflect Missile, making Sylvan Hunters and Druids useless (it also gives great magic proof). Moreover, it adds immunity to Blindness, which puts Unicorn“s special out of the game. Additionally, the Endurance cast at the start of the battle makes Sylvan“s first strike weaker.

19. Which creature abilities can be considered opposite?

Frightuful Aura X Aura of Bravery
Poison X Regeneration
Mana Stealer X Mana Feed
Unlimited Retaliation X No Retaliation
Undead Creature X Living Creature


17. What are the ways to raise fallen living units without resurrection?

Raise Death (in conjunction with Vampirism), Archangel“s Resurrection, Dryad“s special, Vampirism on its own, Regeneration, Pao Kai“s special, Phoenix“s Reincarnation, Rune of Resurrection, First Aid Tent (with the perk).  Hopefully that“s all of them.


14. Name the top 3 heroes have the fastest intervals between direct attacks.

One would be Jhora with Empathy.
Second could be Wyngaal with Empathy and Archer“s Dream artifact set (he could attack more times early in the battle, because his units get a boost to starting Initiative)
Third would be any Kharg with Empathy and Barbarian unique set (he gets an extra mdirect attack at begining of the battle)
