man,instead retexturing today,i tried a little programming but i had little proplem,the retextured blackie model doesnt showed at all in-game ,i added it to data file and my new added file from the _(model)\creatures\dungeon but still it doesnt showed at all.so what is problem?

Yeah, but if you edit the LOD file, only the Adv. map one is gonna change. but if you edit the other one, both change.

I know that with my Crystal Draogn there were only two .dds files; the main texture and the icon. I just defined all image needs to one of those two and it seems to work fine.

Yes, that is the case for HoF creatures, but original-game creatures had two textures just for the creature itself.

Every creatures before HoF has a LOD and a normal version. The LOD version is what you'll see on the adventure map, the normal one is what you'll see in the arena.

HoF and ToE creatures have no LOD models anymore.

It's good, but is it possible to make the same color on the armor as it is on the skin, becouse I think it would look much better with no armor and the spikes was the Dragon, not armor

No keep it as it is, it is fine this way.
Lets keep moving with the project rather then get hung up on a minor graphical tweak to an already awesome model.

Before you start...I'm just thinking how to make it look less like a Black Dragon. Any ideas? It would have to involve removing something. Maybe torn wings?

i dont think that is necessary,in the end everybody who had played heroes5,knows that is retextured black dragon,also,we explain in rust dragon's description why they look so much blackie's. hmmm... maybe because they are closest relatives to black dragons?

but about abilities and stats(you have them allready) but here is my ideas

dmg:50-70
hp:300
init:10
speed:8
shots:0
mana:0

abilities:large creature,elemental,flyer,acid blood,acid breath,weakening strike,venom

reason why i putted elemental ability is that was only way make "poisonous" dragon to immune poison.(expect undead)

That dragon looks top notch! About the spike bein not armor blabla. Talking abou the middle spike row here..think of it as that the natural spikes are covered in armor. End of buisness

Rust Dragon as maybe the strongest until now of the dragons...makes me feel sad for Blackie...but as long as only Blackie will have magic immunity, he will not be let down

I like the stats of Rusty, good job

Those stats are nice, Elemental is kind of akward, but you're right, it does have to be immune to poison so it makes sense. I like that is resembles that stats of high-powered existing creatures like Seraphs so it is not entirely overpowered. The original Crystal Dragon will get a debuff and Azure Dragon will have its stats capped at maybe 45 attack if even that much.

Starting tomorrow, I return to school, which means I won't be around until maybe next weeked. I'll try to keep regular updates though.

Haven't started too much programming yet, but I hope to be able to get started soon.

When Azure Dragon is done, I think we'll finish Texturing, unless someone makes nice textures with thorough creature background. I for one, know that everyone involved in this mod can forget about texturing for this mod when Azure is complete.
