Book titles and first paragraphs

have you ever wondered want a book is going to be like, and the title isn't very helpful. for example:
Lord of the rings- if you didn't know the story, you would have thought it could be a story about goldsmithing.

so here is the game. i choose a title of a book and a genre, and you guys have to write the first paragraph of it. i will judge whether i think it is a good book, and if it is, send it to the imaginary publishing presses.

good luck, everyone!

first challenge:

Title: Eragon
Genre: Cook book

Hi!  If you've picked up this book in a bookstore or a library, you're probobally standing in the Cooking section.  I'll asume that since you're standing there you already know a bit about cooking, so this book will dive right into teaching you how to cook some exquiste traditional Alagasian Meals, including Barbequed Urgal, Beetle Demon on a Stick, Pheasant a la Dragon Hatchling, and Eragon hours dourves, which is french for "Bits of the Luke Skywalker clone this book is named after on a stick with peices of vegetables intermittant, all on a chopstick"

something to feed

Put all ingrediants in bowl and stir with the really pointy stick except 1 of the flaming potions of pain. Use Alchemy skill to mix with perfection. Afterwords let the goop cool for 38 years 28 days 37 minutes and 29 seconds. Then pour the other potion bottle in. Stir for as long as your arms last till they explode. You're holding the book Eragon, the first Elven cooking book in the history. All the secret magical recipes of the Elves' kingdom are revealed, and all you have to do is to follow the instructions to get the amazing results of the Elven wisdom.
You will be able to find here the sweet Powder of Luck, the Beverage of Honour, the soup of Harmony and more.
Before you can start cooking, you must have all the required components. The components for every specific recipe are written on its page, and it shouldn't be too hard to find the required ones; they all can be found quite easily in an average forest. Examples of possible components: Werewolf's fur, a branch of treant, a leaf that grew out of a pixie, etc.

yes. some people think it were people who did this to us. some thought aliens. but the truth is...vegetables. those miserable thingies who doesn't taste very good. they have got human friends. you might think vegetairies are their enemies, but they give vegetables a warm place inside their body.
vegetables will grow and eat them from inside out. then you will get a living nightmare: half man, half vegetable...

How Green Are the Nazis?

They fight in green uniforms, their flag is anything but green, and they had an 'incident' 60 years ago what made their gras less green than any other grastypes. We are talking about the Nazis indeed. Professor Klaus Schwein, expert in racist movements like the Nazis, told us the following: 'When i walked upon the earth, suddenly a greenpeace guy walked up to me and asked whether the Nazis were green. I couldn't believe my ears, but he honestly wanted to know whether or not the Nazis were good for the environment.' After some research we know that the Nazis, although not always as friendly, have no intention to harm trees, gras, animals, or the sky. A famous Neo-nazi from Belgium told us: 'I dislike humans from a certain genre, but I have no anger against Mother Nature's creations.' He probably didn't know that also humans could be Mother Nature's creations. Anyway, it stopped the Greenpeace people from going to 'war' to the Nazis.

Day 1

I was a commender on the Nazis army. On the first day of the attack, our legion started progressing towards the american enemy. On our way we were very care to not step over the flowers on that beatiful field, like those beasts did. With great fury for what they had done, we managed to kill all the soldiers on their legion. We put their corpses inside special recycling bins and continued progressing. On that day, a terrible incident happened while we were walking on the forest. A wolf attacked one of our soldiers and the bastard shoot him to death. We immediately buried the soldier for being so inhumane towards the living.

Day 1
September 15, 1942

I've seen a lot in my job.  42 years in the mighty German Army. I've commanded whole swathes of men.  I've risen from Privates to Generals.  I've disguised myself as an Onion Seller, and I've smuggled the painting of the Fallen Maddonna with the Big Boobies out of France in a sausage..  You would think, wouldn't you, that I'd seen it all.  But I hadn't.  It was today, Teusday, the 15th, that the Allies Bombed us.  But they didn't use Napalm.  They didn't use Tear Gas.  No.  They used Green Paint.  We looked up at the Wellingtons and gasped as luminecant Green Paint smacked down on us.  The sheer weight of the gallons upon gallons of the verdant filth drove us to the ground.  The Wellingtons landed and Comandos ringed us all with thick Net, keeping their guns trained on us.

But I'm starting near the end of my story.  This is how it began...
