DoW is nice.. New exp with battlesisters and some exorcist-like units was niiice. So yes i play it, yes i like it and YES i collect W40K.^^

I suggest picking up the Soulstorm Bug Fix that was created by the people on the Relic Forum. It fixes a lot of stuff.
Unfortunately, I highly doubt they are ever going to patch the game, which totally sucks for the Necrons.
As to collecting, I don't collect but I do buy the codexs and novels. If I were to collect, I'd definetely pick up some Necrons.

Nah, Relic's going to patch it sooner or later, according to their message (the one that shows when you log onto the online stuff) they're working on it.
Or at least I hope so, people who use Sisters of Battle are mostly kicked because of the infinite requistion glitch, and there are a lot of other problems too.
For example, I can't stand the fact that my Tau Commander's "croth-protector" is wrongly placed (Think of a better name for it you wish...)
Also, the broadsides look like retarded rabbits when they walk...

I'm probably too consumed in the game and obsessed with the action so I don't really notice stuff like that. But something like infinite ressources is pretty drastic . But how would I know I don't play sisthers of battle.
Anyways who's up for a match ?

Want to drive yourself insane? Try playing as the Imperial Guard on hard and see how much fun it is to take a territory with +5 strength. See if you can get off the starting planet.

Heehe  . I mean it's your fault for playing Imperial Guard seriously... what a bunch of wussies .
Anyways anyone currently online who's up for a match? I fly tomorrow so this is my last chance for one month .
BTW yesterday I had my first online experience... it was mixed...
1st game 2 on 2 Ice River... me (SPACE MARINES!!) with Tau player vs. Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle (yeah with the ressource bug).
And now behold... I didn't get rushed giving me time to tech up to machine pit (he was standing at the listening post in the middle with mandrakes and his Archaron no idea why he didn't attack) and I build landspeeder tempest like mad (all with the fraq missles) and imagine my utter pleasure when I found him having 3 of those skorpion melee vehicles of his utterly destroyed by me! I had send two squads of marines down to my tau friend (pretty good player managed to kill sisthers with bug) and we won!! MY FIRST ONLINE BATTLE WON!! YEAH!!
But then... things changed. I joined another 2vs 2 game this time with me (spacemarines) with another spacemarine guy vs. imperial guard and spacemarines... well he rushed me I was not prepared and I was in for my first utter defeat...
And now I wana have a real fight come on guys!!

Hehe, I won my first match too, pretty much luck cause I had a really good teammate.
I won my second match too with a Broadside in Devilfish transport attack. It's the funniest tactic I know of, you load those slow Broadsides into an invisible transport, set it on Hold Fire, then sneak into the enemy's base. I then attack with another force and lure all his units out, and then it's Broadside time (only works against Dark Eldar, Eldar and Tau, everyone else builds annoying turrets  )
After that match it went downwards, with me only winning about 50 % of my matches... and it started so good...

If you are looking for something interesting, download Firestorm over Kronus for Dark Crusade. Now there's one Hell of a mod. Basically it makes the game better in just about every facet. I highly recommend it. You'll believe me when you see a Devastator squard blowing apart Noise Marines.

Who needs Barracudas when your Pathfinders can get rail rifles, Broadsides and Crisis Suits come in squads of 3, and the Tau Commander gets several suit variants?
Not enough to convince you?
Chaos: 5 doctrines of Chaos, Rubric Marines, Plague Marines, Noise Marines, unique commanders.
Imperial Guard: Get Inquisitors, Grey Knights, Sniper squards, Sentinel Squads of 3, a ridiculous amount of Lemun Russ and Bane Blade variants, a new command squad.
I really could go on and on but I'm sure you get the point.

No prob. Be forewarned, the game plays a lot differently than before.
Oh yeah, nearly forgot. You'll need to get a mod manager to run the game. Should be easy enough to find online. I think it's called DC Mod Manager or something simple like that.
