I just watched the youtube trailer, this mod seems great 
I'm a bit sceptic though... it's like with all mods right? You can't go online?
On the other hand... Crisis suit style commander! *drools on keyboard*

Not sure if you can go online since I don't play multiplayer. So far, you can only play in skirmish.

Well, anyway. thanks for the tip... If multiplayer Soulstorm ever gets boring I'll download that mod, which could be fairly soon, considering that most Soulstorm players online are either überskilled or total idiots...

Another thing about Firestorm is that vehicles pretty much can't be taken out without the help of anti-armor units or other vehicles. It adds a bit of realism... to the game.

Yeah, I read something about Heavy support choices and stuff too, seems like this mod takes one step closer towards the real warhammer rules

I've meditated over my loss...
What Adrius could have done better:
I could have used 2 Kroot squads with my Fire Warriors instead of just Fire Warriors... That way I could have blocked Oscarius' Obliterators from owning, also I should use barracudas more, they're Imba incarnated

Ah yes. Failed to protect your ranged units. The problem with Fire Warriors is that they are almost too good at killing which leads people to inevest heavily into them and neglect other units. You always want to have some melee units out and ready to tangle up the Tau's enemies.

Very true, but I am also extremly confident in my use of the commander's snare traps. I think Oscarius went into at least 4-5 of them, but in the end, Chaos' overwhelming amounts of creatures was too much, and Kroots would have been better.

Those Snare Traps are EXTREMMLY enoying, they slow you down to like 1/10 of the normal speed and if 1(!!) unit in a squad of 10 is hit then the whole ****** squad move with that slow, slow speed

Yeah, they're pretty effective, if I have much energy, I throw them everywhere
Edit: and it's annoying oscarius... enjoy means "njuta" in swedish...

Well yeah, I need to learn better microing too, if I use that kind of tactic I'll need to have them more spread out... Or have kroots...
So... Conclusion:
Be less aggressive, Oscarius can own you on his own ground, at least when using Chaos. Build a nice defence with snare traps and tech quickly, those barracudas will slaughter his buildings unless he has built turrets everywhere, which would ruin economy too.
Also, I shouldn't overestimate my Crisis suits, even though they've won about 4 of my games against Oscarius, possessed chaos marines can crush their morale and then chew them into tiny bits...
Man, I've never had problems facing chaos up until now... My number one enemy is Necrons... I think they require nearly no skill at all cause they own anyway

Omega some qustions about that mod.
I tried to install it (with mod manager) but the game dosnt start. Also I had to make a folder, that FoK folder.
Do u really hav't do that or am I making it wrong??
Edit: I can open the manager atleast and move the file (may soon be files) back and forth as u should be able to. Its when I start the game that it crashes.

Well, you're using Vista... Soulstorm isn't supported for that system in the first place so I doubt that the mod manager thingy works...
But keep trying, i'm hardly an expert at Vista or modding...

The Mod is for Dark Crusade, not Soulstorm. I had some problems getting it to install at first. You need to have the mod manager and then follow the instructions in the Firestorm file. Then enter the mod manager, highlight Firestorm, and hit the --> button to drag it over. Next time you start up the game it should be running.
