It's going to be a net departed by some red lines. What so chaotic about that?

Not sure at the moment, but if you make it non-chaotic it will not be chaotic.

To do that, you'd need to start by listing what forum each person is associated with, or provide some way for us to work that out, yes?

Maybe the participant could specify that in the sent HCM, I think everyone knows in which forum (s)he hangs out the most. In my case I know I have by faraway the most posts in the Modders Workshop.

Maybe you misunderstood me, or vice versa - what I meant was, when I make my choices, I need to be sure that the Workshop person (since I'm one of those) considers themselves to be so, and the non-Workshop person not. So to start, people would need to say which forum they feel they belong to (although I guess it would be pretty obvious).

I thought about it, too. So let's just rephrase it.
Everyone will choose:
1. His favorite forum.
2. A person s/he enjoys discussing with, on that forum
3. A person s/he enjoys discussing with, on other forums
This means that the person you choose doesn't have to be say what is his favorite forum. You just choose the person that your discussions with him on your favorite forum are the most enjoyable.

But I can't pick some 'favorite' user with which I enjoy discussing in a forum. I enjoy a lot of your posts, it wouldn't be the same without any one of you.

You're doing it wrong. First, you're supposed to HCM this stuff to the person organizing this. (Currently, we have no volunteers). Second, you're only supposed to pick one person from your subforum and one person from another one.

Mvass, I don't give a crap if I'm doing it wrong. If you so desperately want someone to do it then do it yourself. Since there is no one actually doing this yet, then I'll do whatever I want with the idea. K?

All you have to do in yours is to contact people (which is the hardest part) and then copy/paste their responses. The latter part should take 5 minutes at most.
