I see that hope is fading faster than I thought...

I guess it's all in the upbringing, the constant fights with the arab terrorists that we have... *sigh*

I wonder if the only reason why I'm not prejudice against arabs or muslims as a whole is because I spent my first 12 years of existance away from all this... Maybe that's what makes it much easier for me to draw the line between arab and arab terrorist, between a simple civillian who just wants to live and a warmonger with AK-47 in hands.

And whether any of you believe it or not, most of the muslims in the world are regular people, it's just that in Islam, like in any other religion or just group of people, the extremist are much more vocal than the rest.

I meant in general its hard for isrealis to, I dont think theyre all evil either . Explicitly said so earlier. But yeah id blame the upbringing of people. But then again isreal IS anti-arabic on the whole. Id say parents who tell you that not all arabs are evil at all and the internet ( so you can debate with people on the issue) Is the best cure for such predijuce.
I know what "No great love" Implies. But here i actually meant that we really start on a less then neutral point. Not that theyre evil.

It should be noted such hatred will always fade with time. Those who went through the second world war held resentment towards all the Germans. These days, that resentment is pretty much gone.

The problem is, the second world war was a war that could be stopped, whereas it seems the war in Israel and Palestina will never stop. Whenever there is a truce, there's at least one moron from whichever side who avenges someone and starts a whole chain reaction again. And then I'm not even talking about the impact of religion, and muslim extremists proclaiming a Jihad against and the destruction of Israel.

I don't think it will ever stop. At least not in our lifetime.

1) NO insults, abuse, racism or sexism.
Insult is a remark that undermines another person. A simple way to avoid insulting people is to discuss their actions and opinions rather than their personality. For example: instead of saying who they are ("you suck" or "you are an idiot") say what you think about their opinions/actions and why ("Your post about me is wrong because I never said that heroes 4 is a bad game" or "I disagree with your opinion because centaurs have more hit points than gnolls"). This simple rephrasing strategy can resolve many conflicts and fights before they even happen, both online and in life.

Quote:
6) NO provocation or aggravaion.
Provocation is unfriendly behavior that causes anger or resentment from others. Aggravation is causing, continuing or increasing irritation or trouble. This includes being a detriment to the peacekeeping of the forums.
Each member is solely responsible for their own conduct - no amount of provocation or aggravation from someone else will justify the action of breaking the rules. Instead of responding to a member who has offended you, alert a moderator about this situation and let them deal with it, keeping you out of trouble.

Zan, if you cannot post in a way that adheres to these rules - expect that you'll soon not be able to post at all. You clearly post only to provoke, and your message of hate and intolerance is poison - it needs to stop

Anti and the rest - attacking him, and engaging in this nonsense does no more than keep it alive and help it spread. Ignore him and alert a moderator when he is crossing lines.

Another eruption of anti-muslim sentiment?  Surprise surprise.

If Fareed Zakaria is to be believe Islam is starting to undergo its own civil war and reformation, much the same way the Catholic church split back in the middle ages after Martin Luther set things in motion.

There are a few differences here, of course.  The first is that we are living through this bloody struggle right now and not just reading about it in a history book.  Second, those who live daily with the consequences of this struggle have a vastly different look at it then the rest of us do who, with the exception of the twin towers falling six years ago, are largely untouched by it.

I grew up with dozens of muslim friends.  One of the neighborhoods I grew up in was primarily Indian/Pakistani.  Assyrians were also represented in number.  To those of you who don't know who they are, they're Iraqis who identify themselves as Christian.  Hell, they might even speak Farsi instead of arabic for all I know.  Never once was there any attempt by my peers and friends to convert me or tell me my religion sucked.  Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived in close proximity to each other, were friends with each other, broke bread with each other, and were able to maintain bonds of mutual affection with each other.  Sounds like Sarajevo, doesn't it?

There is a new brand of Islam out there.  Well, it isn't new.  It has been around for centuries, and it is called Wahabism.  The proliferation of Wahabist madrases(a madras is a school for you undereducated heathen bastards) has been well-documented.  This style of Islam is aggressive and conservative.  And it is a style of Islam that most muslims find offensive.  Unfortunately for them, they ignored it, for whatever reasons, and allowed it to flourish.  And now they have to deal with it.  This is their struggle alone.

This is very different from the Israeli/Palestinian struggle.  Both sides suck.  Both are extreme in their tendencies.  Both want to be victims but the zionists are just as much terrorists as their counterparts.  Don't let them fool you into believing otherwise.

For those of you who believe that Israel is some sort of bastion from militant Islam spreading across the globe and even over to the U.S., puhleeze.  You give your country way too much credit.

If Israel is so worried about Iran possessing nuclear weapons, why don't the Israelis just go on over to Iran and bomb their reactors?  They did it with Iraq back when Saddam.  They've bombed Syria recently.  Iran would make it a perfect trifecta.  As much as the arab world despises Israel, I don't think they would privately mind so much  if the, "Crazy Persians" and their nuclear capability was taken out.    Better make sure that's what its for though.  Otherwise, headlines screaming, "Israel blows an electric power plant to s***!!!  Millions of Iranian civilians without power and running water.  Details inside." won't do much to help your country's international relations.

One more thing, and this is about ZanJeruselem.  Lol @ you.  Are you the second coming of Fortress_Fan?

Doesn't matter.  If you were any dumber, I'd water you.

The apearnce speaks for itself. Arab have differnt looks, accent. Israel is a mixture of coltures, due to the law of return, that every one of jew blood can recive citzenship in israel at ease. we have jews from Ex soviet union,From USA,From europe, and from all the world eventaully.

But  I found such isulting becouse i have frindes who are muslim arabs, christian arabs, and even not arabs, but still christian, and for some reason,we NEVER even go to the point of discussing whos faith is supiror(or lacking).
It's by actions you do that.

No, you dont be fooled. Zionisim means to want a safe place for the jewish people to live, it has nothing, and i mean nothing to do with isreals positioning, or expanding or even if isreal is the size of a thimble if we could all live on it. In fact those people who are making settlements are effectively anti-zionist, they are making isreal a place thats less safe to live by their actions.

Relatively speaking, Compared to what was going on with the holocaust. Why not just give them some wierd stretch of land in england you ask? Well its been discussed a lot but in the end most of the religous Isrealis would prefer it. And its not as if we knew at the time that they(some countries neighboring isreal)  would react so blood-thirstily to isreal being craeted. And now that its here its here and it cant be gotten rid of.Zionisim and its definition remains unchanged, even if peoples perception of its meaning has. Gay is one of the best examples of words being altered and twisted as time goes on. It used to mean being radiant and happy! So in a way the same thing is happening with the word zionisim.
Edit: Also remember that no country was actually willing in any shape or form to hand over their land, except several exceptiosn like the britians with palestine because it was bloody expensive and pointless for them to keep it, there was not that much choice when you think about it secularly either.

Ah yes, safeguarding the pilgrims. And since they were at it, why shouldn't they attacked the caravans passing trough the east. And siege a few cities and murder the inhabitants. All in the name of God of course. It has nothing to do with the riches of the east.

Why does some people think of all muslims as one? Osama Bin Laden is a terrorist. Other muslims are terrorists. White men are terrorists, just that they do it in another way. Black people (no offense) are terrorists, look at the conflicts in Africa. Chinese people are terrorists, also in another way. Everyone are bad, just that some are more open about it. Some are openly aggressive and killing "in the name of God". But that's not all of them, it's some extremists.

Albanian killing a Serb priest
Specifically connects Muslim Albanians to the Nazis, and implies that they are murderers.

ZanJerusalem, Indipendance of Kosovo:
Quote:

Offensive statement.

VoikalBG, Indipendance of Kosovo:
Quote:

Calls for violence against Islam.

Vidoja, Indipendance of Kosovo:
Quote:
And might I ask who spills blood in Kosovo? Albanians. So the only way for the blood to be spilled is for the Albanians to stop spilling the blood.
Suggests that Serbians don't retaliate in kind to the attacks by Albanian terrorist groups.

Muslims are not terrorists. Some terrorists are Muslims. Many aren't. The expansion of Islam did create many problems that remain in modern society, but that is no reason to blame today's Muslims for it. Most of them didn't convert to Islam, but were brought up in it, and it's not their fault that they live and have jobs in non-Muslim/formerly non-Muslim communities. They shouldn't be forced to move, they have as many rights as anybody else.

Who the heck,what???

Who posted as the albanians were naizs or muslims were terrorists?

Actually most albanians helped the jews hide from the holocaust of the nazis. And as for albanians killing serbs huhhhh,it is more the opposite serbs killed albanians in many occasions, I need to go and find many sources that serbs not only killed but also occupied land that never belonged to them. And as for muslims being terrorists, than I disagree. That is racistic and just implies as the whole couple of innocent muslim people are terrorists.
Christians have also bad people but that does not make them terrorists. We should learn from mistakes and not go through war.

Compared to what was going on with the holocaust.
How often do things like the Holocaust happen? Not very often, thankfully. They could have gone back to their countries or moved to the US, Canada, or Australia. And many Soviet Jews only moved to Israel if America wouldn't let them in. You see, Israel isn't that good of a country. It is torn by war, it has a bad economy, and it supports (I don't know the term for these people) people who pray all day and add nothing to society. Why do people live in Israel?
1. They were born there and it is their home. They have family, friends, and jobs there.
2. They are Israeli nationalists.
3. They are Jewish extremists (as bad as Islamic extremists, in a way).

As I see it, the only valid reason is #1. Nationalism and religious extremism are stupid.
