Your probably right, been awhile since I checked up on the ruleset. Since version 1 actually. Then they had to be true neutral only.

I think I've got it!
A half-crazed human that cannot believe how much harm do to the environment to the point he plans to bring plants to their rightful place  Originally a druid, he turned to the study of the arcane thinking that an insight into the secrets of cosmos would improve his plant affinity and imbue him with the strength that he needs for his noble quest. But in so doing he has twisted the whole meaning of life and growth that he has turned his plants into death traps. He always carries with him a bag that carries a minor nature enchantment, there he can store soil, carries seeds and his beloved plants in an environment that can nourish and sustain them.
He thinks himself above the other people, will often be heard mumbling to himself or to his plants and very vengeful but on the other hand he is loyal to the people that - for some reason - show him some respect or seem take his quest for plant domination seriously
Basically he is comic relief bad guy that plays at the edge and somehow managing to stay neutral for all the chaos in his mind Also while a brilliant mind he is not quite high on emotional quotient and has been known to believe things obviously meant to be jokes. In fact he is on this quest because his neighbour told him that he could find an artifact that can manipulate plan growth though it was probably meant to drive him away..
I am thinking that his plant spells get some extra properties as say entangle also afflicting enemies with paralysis or the vines starting to bite the enemy or making him itch

Hello Mysty, Elvin, and Ceres. And the others, too. For the three mentioned, this is SWST. The full version of that name was too long, so I went with AlkarRahn.
I decided to see what was going on with this RPG, and see if I wanted to join. I think I'll give this one a shot, too, if you don't mind. Since I chose my user name to be Alkar Rahn, that's who I'll join as. He's a cleric/sorcerer(mage will do) human.

@Elvin
On second thought you told me that Stormlord is a mage/fighter multiclass but isn't a mage/fighter multiclass an Eldritch Knight? Can't really tell, haven't checked nor touched a Stormlord.

Oops I might have been mistaken. A stormlord is a class for followers of Talos, something like a divine champion but I could not find specifics. Sir William probably knows more.

That's from Complete Divine, which I don't have yet. All I've got are the core set, the Monster Manual II, and I got Complete Warrior for Christmas. So, I'm not familiar with the Stormlord.

Good to have you here. Anybody can feel free to start posting, unless you are all waiting for me to give you a starting point. I will finish up the descriptions of the islands but here is a short summary of those not done yet.
Dark Elf island - Something like a mix of the Dwarf, Human, and Light Elf land. Huge mountains, forests, and natural barriers.
Gnome/Halfling island - Lush tropical island with beautiful features and lots of trees. Nobody invades simply because they are worried about what defenses these tinkerers might have. That and it is the smallest island. Large areas of forest and stone have been 'modified' for the Gnome/Halflings uses.

Though almost identical you are not drow. Just like the light elves are not Wood/High/Grey ect. They have not been forced to live underground like the Drow on other worlds. This makes a few changes with them however. There is no Adamatite, also they are a bit weaker then Drows would be because there was no constant fighting of other creatures in the underdark. Oh and they have a max of 40% Magic Resistance that is always on, so benifical arcane spells can fail if cast on them (unlike Drow who can turn it off and on). Clerical magic for harm or for good, is not affected by the magic resistance.
Though not affected by normal sun or light, the light spell, continual light, or continual light 10' radius still effect your effictiveness (-4 to hit). Though you get negate it by casting your own opposite version (dark, continual dark, or continual dark 10' radius).

I see, I see... I thought I could be a total drow! But I like the idea. Not very strict, just works normal. So basically, the environment does not affect us but the spells and the likes will do. Thanks for explaining.

Clerics are a bit different then mages. They get their spells from a divine (though not always a 'good' source) source. You can memorize any one first level spell, and one from your 'domain' of first level. At any time you may replace the memorized spell with a cure or cause wound spell of a similar level. So you don't have to have one memorized to use one. However, once you use the spell (even if you replace it with a cure or cause and use that) you must meditate for several hours in a row, and be well rested, to recieve another spell.
You automatically have access to any non-unique spell of whatever level you can cast, but you must memorize them to cast them (again with the exception of cause and cure and then you still have to replace a current memorized spell with those).

How about the amount of sailing?
Adveturing on lots of small islands or mainly on the bigger ones?
Sea as something you just pass by or something you explore?
@Ceres: I think Lloth's favored use dagger. One equipment solved.

Well the world IS mostly water. You can feel free to never step on land if you don't want. There is numerous places in the water of interest, and some that require going UNDER the water to get to. Creatures are fewer (except the humanoid kind like humans, dwarves, ect) on the ocean, but their is plenty to do. Though the main story will be on the islands (especially the center one), again people can feel free to totally ignore it if they so desire.
