Why the hell did I sneak onto this boat? Arrrgh curse you spontanious impuls!! I shouldn't have come here yet I still need more training! Barak you fool... well no way to change it now... might aswell make the best of it now. Maybe I should just wait for them all to fall asleep and then turn this boat arround and go back. When I arrive I'll just send someone to pick them up.

Rabidus had not paid much thought to the captain's weird behaviour until they reached the island. Something definitely seemed wrong about him, he did not have the calm air of authority a captain should have, plus he had dogs that could not survive at the sea. Not to mention his not too sane outlook, no something was definitely out of place. A string of thoughts began formulating, thoughts born of a superior intellect.
Kinda.

"Hmph who cares, he probably came here with his own agenda like the rest. But.. What if he could help with mine? His hounds could sniff out the traps protecting the amulet of treehugger, there is no way such a powerful artifact would be left unguarded! And if he wants to get it for himself he would succumb to my sneakiness hehehehehe!"

"Hold.. Lingships was it..? I believe I could aid you in luring those chickens of yours."

"This is one strange group.", Agera thinks while climbing under the deck.

"Sai Lingships, the captain, who clearly isn't in his right mind and who doesn't know how to sail. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't been here. He wouldn't have gotten out of the harbor."

"The monk, Matthew, seemed completely lost in laws and agreements. When will he try to impose those laws on sea I wonder? i can imagine him yelling at the storm: "It is said in law 22, part 55 that sea must be calm! So, calm!"."

The mysterious hooded woman was still under the deck. Agero eyed her suspiciously:
"Why did she hide under the deck until night time? Could she be a dark elf? Having a woman on board was bad enough but a dark elf? Surely this couldn't bode well."

"Then there was the druid. Yet another looney but at least he didn't preach against fishing like they usually did. He even joyed with me everytime I got something saying something like: "One less malevolent herbivore, marvelous!" or "You shall not threaten the innocent allegy anymore". A funny man. Him I could stand."

"The only one who seemed somewhat normal was the mage."
Just then Agera's thoughts are interrupted by a inconvenient odor.
"What is that smell!?
Where is it coming from?
Damn, had the rats established a community down here? I'm getting to the bottom of this right now."

"Hear me rats! I will crack every one of your little skulls! I have put up with you little bastards long enough! Starting now we are at war!", Agera shouts and grabs one of the spades.
"You'd better get up woman this won't be pretty.", he says to the hooded figure in the corner and starts looking for rats in the dimm light. He sees something move and hits it hard.

“Aaaaaaaah!”, the young cleric screamed as she heard the fighter’s warning.

The fear of rats surrounding her, crawling even on the slightest of her dark smooth skin, adding the bad smell and the bad look of the critters plus the unimaginable dirt it contains made her hop off from her sit with eerie, only finding herself in front of Agera, her arms clinging on the fighter’s neck and her face pressed on his big chest, her eyes were closed and the whole of her body trembling from fear.

With total disgust, realizing that she had just placed herself close to a male because of her reckless panic, Satella pulled away from Agera, gave him a tough slap and pushed him away from her making him stumble down.  She removed her hood and draws her long, stark and thick white hair out as her ferocious red eyes struck the fighter wanting to see a dagger sticking on just anywhere of him.  But recalling that she just had lost her precious dagger, which was actually her tenth for the month, she just gave him a hard kick on the stomach.

“Watch your place, MALE!  Watch your place!” she spat as she get all her things and heads out of the deck with haste leaving Aegra rolling in pain.

Outside, Satella gained her pride again; nobody can despise a FEMALE dark elf!  She stood firmly and carefully inspects the area.  Seeing an empty bedroll on the campsite, the cleric gleefully walked towards the spot.  She placed her things beside it and laid down comfortably ignoring the fact that it wasn’t her bedroll nor she had all the hard work for setting it down in place.  Accidentally, she spotted the things left behind by the owner on the other side, mostly books, which appear to be Mathew’s.  She rolled her eyes trying to find him, but seems that he wasn’t around instead what stumbled upon her view are those who were heading out to check more of the island.

“Hey,” she called their attention “be sure to come back soon and tell that bookworm that his spot is mine!” she followed with a wicked loud laugh.

"CLUCK, CLUCK, CLUCK!!!"

Mordock's pathetic attempt to lure the chickens out only serves to warn anybody in the jungle about his clumsy approach.  Unconcerned with discretion, he continues trying to coax the fowl.

"CLUCK, CLUCK, CLUCK!!!"

After a few more minutes of failed bird calls and no response, he decides to let his cadre of canines do the tracking.

"We'll get them yet boys!  Then they'll pay.  Oh yes, they will pay."  The dogs bark lightly, as if laughing evily at the thought of a chicken dinner.  They perk up when they notice the others have decided to join the great chicken hunt.  Mordock notices the change in his dogs' behavior and turns to greet his new fellow hunters.

"Ah, good.  I see you have adopted the noble cause of hunting down the evil flightless ones as well.  Good show!"  He turns back towards the trail he's been blindly following and begins to trek deeper into the jungle.

After 15 minutes of walking, the dogs signal thier master.  Someone was nearby, and whoever it was, had lots of company.  Mordock stops and peers out of the foiliage, scanning the area for his elusive prey.  Instead of chickens, he finds a party of kobolds dancing around a make shift campfire.  A corpse slowly rotates above the fire, evenly cooking.  The apple stuck in the poor blokes mouth seems like a nice touch.

"Bloody Hell" laments Mordock as he observes the scene.  "Those damn chickens must have hired those kobolds to kill all the people on this island, and then through a serious of propoganda and misinformation, have managed to convince everyone that some silly mist killed everyone.  Well, I shall not fall for such a ruse!"

Mordock and his canines spring forth from the jungle into the Kobold clearing, scaring the Hell out of the tiny beasts.

"I got a recipe for you little punks!  Kobolds plus Chickens equals DEATH!!!"  The Lord of Unholy Fury and the hell hounds descend upon the reptilian humanoids with murderous rage, ripping the little monstesr asudner.

'Hmph, the looney did not even hear me. When the plants dominate the world he will be the first to pay! But let's forget about him already, at long last I feel in my element once again and nature's gentle caress always soothes my temper." A faint smile finds itself to the druid's seemingly perpetual scowl.
"Now my quest is close at hand, I will proceed deeper into the island by my own. That bookworm Matthew does not seem the type to leave anyone behind and I don't need the others. I am an expert in survival! More or less. But first.."

Rabidus pulls out a weird looking plant from his magic bag. It has a big blood-red bulb, long sharp leaves and a mass of twiching vines that pulsate almost excitedly upon seeing the daylight.
"It has been a long time my friend Razorleaf! Sorry for not taking you out earlier, I did not want these unworthy humans' presence to taint you. You are looking good, seems my enchantment in that bag has nurtured you just fine. Ready to assist me once more?"

The vines' erratic movement makes him grin evilly. He puts the plant's small pot upon the top of his staff where they seem to merge on contact. Razorleaf was his first creation and friend after he delved into the secrets of sorcery. The once normal carnivorous plant that had since become sentient but also imbued with some...interesting features. It would obey his commands but acted independently at times, part of the reason Rabidus found it so amusing.

"Now, I want you to play stealthy and not move. But be ready to strike if anything attempts to harm me.
What else.. Oh!"

It occured to him that proceeding forth blind in a lush forest might not be the best idea. He put out of his pocket some seeds and placed them on the roots of the nearest tree. A large ivy grew and reached the top moments later carrying him there.
"Let's see.. There is something in the distance but can't quite make out what it is. Looks like a building of some sort. Let's head that way."
On climbing down he sees a gaping hole not far ahead. Might be worth checking out so he decides to head there first .

"B-but, but why?  Darx never hurt you" moans a kobold with a cleaver in it's gut.  It yelps in agony as a heavy foot stomps down on its shoulder and jerks the blade out.  A beautiful fountain of ruby red showers Mordock, who smiles gleefully.

A sickening crunching sound is heard as Mordock begins to grind down on the Dark's shoulder.  Mordock leans in close.

"Oh, wouldn't you like to know?" says Mordock with a sadistic grin.

CRUNCH.

The kobold screams in pain, heralding the the darkness to save him from his torment.  The request is granted; the creature dies.

"Stupid yabo.  Only a fool lies to a god!  Ain't that right boys?"

The four dogs are happily feasting on the remnants of the creatures.  Blood drips down their jaws as they tear the bits and pieces left of the reptilian humanoids.  While pleased with the sight, Mordock is hardly satisfied.  The savage, and unnecessary, slayings of the war camp have revealed nothing new.  The hunt continues.

"I hate to admit it boys, but we may need some help on this one.  Perhaps that batty tree-wizard can help us after all.  See if you can find him for me" Mordock barks.  While irratated at the abrupt conclusion of their meal, the dogs obey and begin to sniff out the trail fo the druid.  Mordock, dripping in kobold blood, follows.  Any corpse in his way gets an angry stomp.

The druid leans in a bit but cannot make out something more. He could care less about the annoying librarian but a secret entrance to an underground passage is too intriguing to pass up. Some vines are sticking about from where he stands, a touch with his staff with a few arcane incantations and they come alive, extending towards the bottom.

"I certainly hope they reach down there Razorleaf cause I'm not getting there the same way he did! What is this sound? Whoever it is they will pay for interrupting my tentative contemplation!"

From the nearest tree come running the false captain's hounds that surround and sniff him excitedly. They do not seem hostile but almost seem they want him to follow them.
"He may have reconsidered after all. Great, now my dear beasties you will go and fetch your master here while I go check what lies ahead. Understand? I'll wait around here, go quickly."

The dogs just sit down and look lazily at the druid for his odd request.  Only one man ordered them around, and he was coming.

From the distance, a crashing sound is heard as Mordock runs towards his dogs.  How he knows where the dogs are is anybody's guess.  For a man of his size clad in heavy armor, he moves gracefully around the foliage.

"HEY!!! RABBIT PANTS!!!  WHERE ARE YOU!!!???" the Lord shouts, not realizing he's homed in on the druid.  The dogs perk up as their master arrives.

"There you are Rabbit Pants.  I've decided to team up with you after all.  No chicken shall be safe from us!!!"

The team of the Lord of Unholy Fury and the Tree Hugger would become a tale of legend.

The druid's features darken for a moment, Rabidus was not one to tolerate insolence - much less from people he did not think highly of.

"It's Rabidus. Anyway good that you are here, I was planning to descend down there as I have the feeling it is the chickens' hideout. Unfortunately it's hard to tell what we will find so we'd better be on our guard. As for him *pointing to the unconscious librarian* maybe we should help him up so he can drag us out should any problems arise. Chicken are notorious for their machinations!"

"Oh I should mention that I am looking for a certain amulet adorned with leaves, if you happen to see it please let me know. Now let us proceed to cut a swathe of death and destruction in our wake!"

Alkar Rahn happens upon the shore once more. H feels a little out of place with the group he is traveling with. Or they are the ones out of place. He gazes about the shore, and notices a small raft/boat. It must've been one that was used by a group that had previously visited this island. It seemed to have no owner recently, so he decided to just use it, and travel back to the human islands.

-------------------------------------------------

Fisrah is a black sheep of the light elves. He lived with them, in the past, on their island, learning their ways. After a while, he grew tired of them. They were too good, and dull. At that point, he just up and left the island, for the human lands. After being nomadic in the human lands, for a while, he found a cult. One that was as close to his ideals as he had ever happened upon. They weren't quite what he was looking for, but they were close enough. A bonus, they had a training ground for those seeking to become more of a guardian to the clergy, rather than the clergy. He joined with them, and trained in both the warrior, and the cleric paths. The teachings of their religion were not for him, though. After he learned as much as he could from the trainers, he left them. This is what makes him what he is, now. A low-trained fighter, and a basic cleric, seeking a deity that he'd be satisfied in worshiping.

(that gets to who he is. what he's doing now, I don't have time enough to type up)

Fisrah wandered into the human village/town the group had left, earlier. He wasn't in search of anyone, or anything, but the area was around, and he wanted to check it out. He wandered around the place, a little, exploring the area. He eventually found his way to the tavern the group had met before, after stopping at a few shops. (getting his starting gear) A posting about the traveling to the central island was around, and found by him.

"Huh. Well, I might go to that place, eventually, but I think I'll stick around here, for now."

Fisrah drops the paper on the floor, and heads out.

"This stop was almost useless. I guess I'll head out now. Nothing more important around."

Leaving the village/town, Fisrah bumps into a woman, somewhere around the age of 22, and knocks her to the ground. Without even looking back, he just continues on.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit to continue:

A nearby man, the woman's brother, visiting her, wanders out of her house, and sees what has happened. He rushes over to check on his sister, then goes after Fisrah.

"You! What do you think you're doing!? You can't go around, knocking people over! Even if it was accidental, you could've helped her back up!"

Fisrah just kept on walking, ignoring the man who he considered nothing more than a minor annoyance. The man decided to press on, however. A mistake that would be his last. The man, not getting a reply, ran up, behind Fisrah, and grab him by the shoulder. The massive club being carried by Fisrah would've deterred most people from doing such an act, but this man did so anyway.

"Sir!"

Fisrah spun around, grabbing the man's wrist. He plowed into the man with his shoulder, sending him to the ground. He took the greatclub in hand, and lifted it above his head.

"Yeah?"

Fisrah brought the club down, aimed right for the man's skull.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
And another edit for continuation:

After dealing with his fly, Fisrah left the body where it lay. He just turned, and walked away, leaving it there to be dealt with by some other person. Nobody was around to witness this event. And he hardly cared if there was. But it would bring trouble from the guards, or whoever would be similar. Fisrah didn’t feel like being hunted. Since there were no people around to witness this, there was only one who could identify him; this man’s sister.

“Looks like I’m going to have to deal with that thing that got in my way, earlier.”

Fisrah turned back to get the woman. He figured it would probably be best to spend as little time in this area as possible, so he rushed as fast as he could to get back to her, stopping only briefly to clean the blood from him before he reached her.

He found her just barely getting herself to her feet again. Apparently, she had twisted her ankle in the fall, making it hard for her to do much of anything with the foot. He could easily kill her here and now, but since this was more out in the open, he wasn’t sure if there would be anybody who would happen by while the task is being performed.

“You. Get up, and come with me. We’re going for a walk. Don’t you dare make a sound. You’ve got that man’s life to consider. Not to mention your own.”

Fisrah casted a cure minor wounds spell on the woman so she could walk with the ankle better. He didn’t want her to draw attention to herself while they were leaving. Afterwards, he takes her by the wrist, leading her out of the village.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit number three:

Fisrah was able to get the woman out of the village without incident. She was more concerned for her brother, than herself. So, she did stay quiet, and willingly went with, putting up no fight at all.

After they were well out of the village, and out of a clear view, Fisrah sent the woman back to the ground. He went for his greatclub right after that.

“Where is my brother!? What have you done to him!?” the woman cried out.

Fisrah can’t help but laugh a little.

“Oh, your brother is back in the village. What I’ve done to him, I am about to do to you. I crushed him! Maybe you’ll survive the first strike.”

Fisrah swung the massive club, aiming for her right arm, and anything that was beyond it.

"Amulet.  Leaves.  Got it" mumbles Mordock as he walks over to the unconscious librarian.  He lifts the bookworm up by the scruff of the neck, in front of him, like a human shield.

"Don't worry Rabbit Pants.  They try anything funny and I'll gut thier precious book man.  The chickens may be blood-thirsty killers but they know the value of those who have hands and who can read."

The canine cadre snickers and Mordock heads further into the labyrithine jungle.

A deep frown falls across Mordock's face after an hour of trudging through the dense vegetation.  He has difficulty understand how the Druid can be enjoying himself so much on the trek.  Every whisper, every smile, and every wave to the passing plants Rabidus throws up causes Mordock to cringe a little.

"What kind of freak talks to plants?" Mordock quietly asks his cleaver.  One of the dogs shoots him a glance.  He laughs.  "Good one Barky!"

Minutes fade into hours as the criminally insane butcher and botanical beau continue searching for their respective trophies.  The monotony is shattered when Bitey stops and begins barking.  The rest of the hounds adopt an aggressive stance.  The stench of the purple mist sends the others into a barking frenzy.

"So this is what the chickens have been using to kill everyone.  Clever."  Mordock looks on at the hanging clouds and draws the still unconscious librarian closer.  He slowly walks closer to Rabidus.

"Do they plants know anything about this?"

“Well, I think it is time for me to leave this place, Madam. I am through with you, and that insect brother of yours. And this place does not have anything of interest for me.”

Fisrah looked to the road ahead, then back to the woman’s corpse.

“Perhaps I should take you along. For a little while, at least. I don't think this is well hidden enough that nobody will find you. The fewer reasons people have to come after me, the better. It is too late to return for your brother, but I could drag you along until I feel we have traveled far enough away. I'll have to travel through areas that no one else is likely travel, though. I am sure I can handle that.”

Fisrah picks up the body, and hangs it over his shoulder. He starts heading out, away from the village.

A strange eerie purple light pulses in what was total darkness.  A strange sound echoes from the middle of the island.  "Tresssspasssserssss.  Defilersssss.  Corruptorssss." The voice is ancient, and dark.  Dark purplish tentacles flow through the underground to seek out those who would dare intrude on this island.  And..it finds them.  Each and everyone of them.

They are entangled and entrapped within seconds.  The mightiest of them no more then an insect against this fiend.  Pulling them to their certain death.  At least, that was the fiends intention.  As soon as the last is pulled underground, something breaks the spell and seals up the way they entered.  Now they are together, but trapped.  At least ... they have their gear.

But a force wants to destroy them, and could strike any moment.  What saved them?  Why?  Only empty silence answers these questions.  More may come to light somewhere within the confines of this maze of stone.  Or..it could just lead to their doom.

Rabidus seems a bit lost in his thoughts. But then seems as determined as ever.

"No matter, this is just a minor setback. Much as I have a distaste for human company it seems we will have to work together. And since you are all here I should introduce you to Razorleaf my faithful companion. Don't bite any of those people will you?"

It is only then that the others notice the monstrous plant atop his staff. They stare blankly for a few moments before it lashes to bite Matthew in the nose.

"Bad Razorleaf!" The druid chuckles evilly. Then reaching into his magic bag he pulls out a fluorescent green glowing ivy that illuminates the surroundings with sufficient light. He lets it touch the staff and it wraps around it quickly.

"That's better! Anyway this place is getting tiresome, let's go already."

Just when they was moving to the window, full-toned howling splitted the air “Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu”

“Hooly…so many…” – the priest did not continued.
“Well what you think now? May I talk with him for a little? Just BECAUSE THE KING WANT ALL FORCES ON EAST THE COAST?????”

They entered in the room for meditation and saw a man with red clothes decorated with drowned golden oak-leaves. He was meditating. The boy said nervously:

“Ehem, Lord, the king recruiting all forces on the east coast, he sent me to call you as soon as possible, he needs everyone… the situation is dangerous…”

Like awaken from sleep, Dobrotica said: :”Dangerous?!” What do you mean with this? We are living in peace these days…”

“The king told me to give you this, Lord.” – said the boys and gave a small letter with seal on it to the paladin – the kings seal. Dobrotica opened the letter and started to read it. When he finished he said quietly but clearly:

“Is that true? It just… can’t be…”

“But it is… We have not more then an hour to get there, we have to hurry”
