Played a map where I was purple. Went to new single player game. Chose a different map without going to the towns screen. Started as purple in a red town

Isn't it considered a bug? I may be making a confusion but isn't that the map where you don't even alllow heroes to learn the magic schools without visiting certain places?

Not really a bug, because the script allowing 12 or more skills doesn't check for racial attributes so will offer to a knight anything. I had to correct this by setting a script which will remove necromancy if any hero from human player gets it.
First I said "nice, got necro", but then when I used in battle got too many of them, so when combined with stronghold freelancer, player will be able to get too many resources when selling skels, therefore finish map faster.

Or just upgrade the skels, turn the others to undead, I don't remember what you did with them but I remember the Heavy Cavalry was Dread Knights in disgise and they were not Alive, and use them in batle.
