Heroes 1 in general looks like it doesn't take itself very seriously. The way Hydras, Ogres look and act brings a smile to my face. Gargoyles are comically noisy and fussy for something that deals 2-3 damage.

Come on ! Can no one can see that enemy Dwarves are hasted, yet there's no hero defending the castle ? The haste symbol on Dwarves is not cursor. That's how Heroes 1 displays enchantments. Only one can be active at a time, and new enchantment overrides the old one. This makes Dispel and Cure much less useful. Cursor is on gargoyle's face.

Nah, they're just 'shopped images to lure You to its site, which is infected. I think someone already warned us about this so called H2 New Age, am too lazy to look the exact thread up.

It's still pretty funny cause the creatures can be found on google image search individually For instance the black dragon on the first image is from "dragon" search word. Also the unicorn from "unicorn".

That once happened to me as well, and I was lucky the enemy hero was barbarian, and didn't have much shooters, so my Harpies were undefeatable

So did you put on autocombat and let the computer run throughout the night?
Edit: With 10 rounds pr. minute, and 1 damage pr. round, it'd still take about 300*571*7/600 hours, which is approx. 2-3 months.

Nah you have to do it manually. Auto-combat runs the risk of having your harpy abandoning that position at some time after the first month.
