We should have a forum for the red star discussions  I guess it's been a while.  It seems to me this argument has been going since the beginning of HC, so nothing's changed.

Things have changed, for sure! It's much harder to get QP's now, much harder than it was on the beginning. If it's positive or negative, that's a matter of opinion. Personally, I think it's necessary.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The discussions started with objection to the QP's.
Continued to considering their advantages and disadvantages.
Continued to completing with the facts they are here.
Continued to learning how to get along with them and how to get them.
Continued to requests of making them easier to gain.
And now we are on this discussion, writing philosophy about all that.

Wrong, in the temple they are actually easier. Keep in mind that difficulty still increases according to how many you have

Yeah, I'm afraid he's right. For example, my awesome post on the previous page would have easily gotten a QP had it been posted by mamgaeater.

Let me try something else then...

I think kooka deserves a QP just because she's kooka. Wait, she's a mod now - no QPs for her.

Oh, well... It was worth a try.

I certainly didnt get my QPs because I am celfious. A majority of my time here I've been black balled by 50% of the community.

That's funny because I actually see it the other way arround. I agree though that if Magmaeater had made Vaals post he would most deffinetly have gotten a QP. But I think Vaal is an exception. Except for our beloved mods we don't necessairily have many posters who lead by example, don't you think? And well I guess post like that are kind of what are expected by Vlaad so they do not need to get red stars as (basically) everything you post (intending to be serious and bring your message across) is qp worthy...(maybe small exageration here) The red star post count is irrelevant in this matter as I think we have some "honorable" (or whatever it is) who are "normal" or worse than "ordinary" posters. But well nobody says they have to lead by example.
However I think it's easier for members that already have red stars to get one but that is just my impression I can hardly prove it as I can't take a qp-awarded post by a "popular" person and prove how it isn't qp worthy. (NO I'm not saying this because I haven't goten a lovely red gif. file yet).

Almost People who have gotten a number of qps already know the name of the game but are also easier to spot. You know to watch out for some specific people's posts. But of course the expectations rise too, that's what I meant.

Heehe I know what you ment and I didn't mean to say you were wrong. It's just that the post level for which has gotten QP's hasn't changed but now he doesn't get QP's anymore eventhough his posts haven't droped in quality. Oh wait... that's actually due to the risen expectations....?.......!

Well nevermind the risen exspectations I still think TA should get a QP for the first post he made on this page. I guess he has tried to explain the topic numerous times and they've all been good but this post is simple yet very informative (for people who don't know the subject yet) and it's written in a perfect example of forum behaviour in a rather tense enviroment...
