Turning consoles into PC style gaming?
Just a thought, but what if xbox360 and ps3 released some games like HoMM, command and conquer and other games that are best played with a keyboard and mouse? What if those consoles sold a keyboard and mouse for like 50 bucks and started releasing more of those games?
There could be new flying games, new shooters, new map style fights, ect.
I was just thinking thats all, whats your opinion? Or have they already released that stuff for chatting and what not?

Well get a PC already if you want to be doing all that. The reason for the console lacking those features/games is to keep cost down right?
The most interesting one is the Wii because of the control scheme, something not available on PC. With that you probably could do some Homm point and click.

There was a keyboard+mouse for the PSOne, wasn't it?
Also, both C&C and Red Alert was REALLY awesome on PSOne. I mean it, it was really impressive. With the regular controller.

then wouldn't it turn back into more of a PC again if this happened?

In different ways consoles have become like PCs. First is that consoles are built more like PCs than ever (every disc-based console has inherited PC-like loading times). Second is that more genres that are better used with PC peripherals are making their way towards consoles (Goldeneye 007 for the N64 and the XBox Halo series have proved that FPS games van be done on consoles and done well). Finally, many PC ports have made their way onto consoles. For example, XBox gets a lot of PC ports and vice versa.

Well, it would be an optional upgrade. It would enable release of more hit games.

Yea, well if no one wants to talk about this I agree. It is kind of boring. It was just an idea I had. I usualy get happy about my ideas and talk about them to people.
anyways.... no one would miss this thread
