My costs (rounded) per month..now some are +/- meaning they change a little depending. Those will be marked with a *.
Rent - 600
Electricity - 110*
Gas (For cooking/etc)- 60*
Food for the House (for 3 people) - 450 * (and we eat cheap) roughly 150* a week.
Fuel for vehicle - 100* (recently went down thanks to more fuel efficient car)..about 25* a week.
Car Payment - 300 (the reason fuel cost went down)
Cable Bill - 130
Garbage - 50
Water Bill - 70*
This is BEFORE anything like entertainment (movies, etc), snacks for work, etc. I know I am forgetting a few things also.

I know my parents earn about 1500/2000€ together (not each) and can't even pay for what they think is necessary. but I would say we still live fairly well. we have a house, and (bad) food but at least we eat 
anyway, how do you want to eat well when industrials put poison in food on purpose because it makes them earn more money?

@ fauch: in my country, a 1000 euros is absolute minimum wage for a full-time job...
Does one of your parents volunteer or do part-time or is France just that different from Belgium?

my father doesn't work, so he gets less than the minimum wage. in another hand, since my mother works, we aren't eligible for most financial helps
I myself earn usually between 100 and 700€ per month (part-time) in average I'm probably between 300 and 400€ per month.

So I am probably getting a part-time job (and have to accept that, as it's almost impossible to get a job these days) as assistant in a school, 3-4 hours 5 days a week. I will then earn 1220$ a month, with a rent at 752$ (included net, tv, electricity, water, etc.. really small apartment though) a month and food really expensive (a bread is like 3$ if you don't want it hard and awful). And that's low payment, here in Norway. I'll probably have to be looking for nightjobs and stuff to afford other things than just rent and food.
It's pretty much
Rent- 752$
Food- 300-400$
Everything else- 100$
Savings- 0$
Sucks, can't get a car or save up money for further education! So with this job (and only 1600$ in my account) I will have some trouble with bills and stuff!
So yeah, just felt like sharing that cause I barely ever talk about cash. Yup.

1. Depends on what the monopoly does. there is no true or false with things created and run by humans except in the most extreme cases. (I only classify the creation and mass production of biological weapons as an absolute evil... But that's just me.)
2. True. Google is a monopoly. If they wanted to, they could but out every other search company and half the small businesses in the world. They have obviously cornered the market.

The only reason said companies have not been bought out is that google would be pointing the giant neon sign that reads "Monopoly" over its head, and then the government would crack down on them harder then a boulder on a robin egg...

Also, more generally, I was interested in opinions of whether trust-breaking is good for the economy.

Are said monopoly hurting the marked by making sure no-one can compete with it via fraud and blocking entrance to the marked?
If they are indeed doing that, they should be broken up, INSTANTLY.
Just take a look at what MS managed to do in its day, or Intel..... It is horror stories of companies who was not broken up when they started abusing.
