Yes, console games tend to sell better than PC games. That is partially due to the lower amounts of piracy on consoles, and partially because lots of people use personal computers for non-gaming things. Consoles are purely for gaming, so console owners buy more games than computer owners.

Meh... yeah, I hate commercialism. Nothing I can do about it tho. However, the majority of good games I have found are on PC.. but there are PLENTY of good console games, and very few right now for the XBox. Oh well.

i dont know anything about a XBox(i live in Norway). the name is a funny one i mostly like nintendo 64 (Zelda is a GREAT game) and pc!

It seems that nobody really likes the x-box. I heard first day sales were very disappointing as well.
I'm glad. I'd probably get a gamecube if I was going to buy a console.

here is why XBOX sux:
1. Halo - PHEW! - no mouse, fps for console? wtf? I went to the mountains level (the alien land) - because i was told that from there graphics starts to be better - but still the gameplay was odd to me - but I'm not FPS player - so that must be.
2. Oddsworld - SUXXX!! - bad animations - not so much fun. Really some of the character animations are like in 5 or 10fps - really bad.
3. D.O.A.3 - well good graphics - but not so much of a game - Soul Calibur much more better (and better wait for it when comes for XBOX).
4. Air Force Delta Strom - GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT - I thought this will be AceCombat 4 in power of 2 - but it's just simple rippoff of it. Bad graphics - bad gameplay. Get AceCombat IV for PS2.
5. Tony Hawk 2X - well a friend of mine worked on it - so can't say any bad word about it - but nothing more than that - just same as DC version with better grass 
6. Fuzion frenzy - good little games - but no game at all - there was chance for something as championship or i don't know what the hell - but currently this game feels as having 45 little penises instead one big one
All right - Grand Theft Auto 3, probably Metal Gear X are coming also soon - so the games will be here! and Tony Hawk 3 of course - which ROCKS! (but it's out already for PS2 so...)
But then again - CONTROLLER is just amazingly bad designed - your hands get sweated after 2 hours of play - which didn't happen with PS2 one. You are getting tired of it after playing lots of time also. It's nearly worse than the Dreamcast one.
Also you must pay extra $30 for DVD (and my friend who got the XBOX - couldn't find any of this device neither in KB or EB).
GAMECUBEEEEE -------------------------
I just love that controller - still looking weird to me - but handles well.
Luigi's not so much fun - but Star Wars IS! definitely! didn't play any others though.

Nah..
I stick with my pc and my Nintendo. I will buy the new nintendo with release! But Xbox is just a Pc without any other options then playing games.. Also I think the Playstation sucks just to let you all know. The only games on the Playstation are Racing and sport games. And i really don't like such games.

You guys do realize that Xbox had the lowest sales of the three next-gen consoles, right? PS2 slaughtered and the Gamecube pulled ahead with the price reduction to $99. So,uh, yeah, essentially it did flop. Microsoft loses money on each unit sold. By the way, Gamecube rules.

in Europe, it sold out during the first week, and so it kept going. ps: gamecube is for Kids
