Elfen Lied is one of those animes that deserve a specific spot in anime history, right along there with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gundam.

Yes, Elfenlied was a great anime.
Gundam is just wasn't my taste but otherwise good.
The other two is unknown so long...

LUCKY STAR!
Rewatched it god knows how many times but it's just that awesome. Don't let the first episode fool you it's THE comedy anime.
Azumanga Daioh is also worth it.

Anyway, I finished Death Note which I started reading years ago and then dropped, the ending left me with weird feelings... didn't know who I actually wanted to win. First season was pretty damn superior to the next.
Read all of the released Naruto chapters. Kinda boring. Thought it might've improved a bit since I dropped reading it but meh. Weird how Naruto still only has like two techniques (Rasengan/Kagen Bunshin) that he occasionaly combines or make variations of and mysteriously beats the **** out of everything.
Sasuke has like, over 9000 techniques. Manga should be named Sasuke ffs.
Just started watching Infinite Ryvius cuz the title sounded cool (how Dagothy of me  ). Not disappointed so far, nice music and characters... like the stuck-on-a-spaceship-survival setting.
EDIT: (Uh yeah I totally dropped my previous intent of reading something funny and instead went for another kinda dark sci-fi series. Sue me.)

After *someone* died it just wasn't the same. The two new guys were retards and I just didn't buy the story that they'd be given so much freedom and resources. Light had grown to be the kind of snow that would sacrifice his family in a heartbeat so I didn't care much about him, still it sucked that he would lose in that way. And have Near gloat that they proved superior to L? No comment.

MAJOR DEATH NOTE SPOILERS AHEAD
After Ryuuku's comment about Death Note users not ending up in heaven or hell I was pretty damn sure that Light would end up as a Shinigami, and that that was how Shinigami were created (trading their humanity for Shinigami powers, like with the eyes). I was hoping for an epilogue, showing Light as a Shinigami granting a human with the same intention as him a Death Note.
Didn't turn out that way though... after his confession (which was pretty damn epic) I SO FRICKING WISHED for him to pull the watch-trick off. So damn disappointing, why oh why didn't he win... why... **** you Matsuda, you're not meant to be useful 
I felt that I understood how the mangaka wanted Near to be interesting, with him being totally serious yet still playing with toys and stuff... but it just proved incredibly inferior compared to L's appearance, posture, personality, everything. I liked Mello though, he was cool.
Misa turned out pretty insignificant in the end. Kinda surprised and disappointed about that as well. I was expecting some epic dramatic moment where she traded for the eyes yet again and has like minutes to live or something, with her proclaiming her never ending love for Light in her last moments and he's like "you were only a tool for me, a quite worthless one at that."
Somehow it all felt a bit rushed towards the end, like the mangaka just wanted to finish the damn thing already.
