Doh at the start you will have to trade or buy all the other 3 resources, that will slow you down a lot... Sulfur is also the cheapest resource so far, noone sells it for more than 10 a piece cause nobody will buy it, marble can go easily for 17 gold a piece

I have successfully looted two towns, hehehe. I've also set up a small secret forum for our island to see if we can get together and do some serious damage.

not restarting though i liek my sulfer and i could care less if i could use another resource i will be the sulfer collecter

One of my islands only has 3 active players, unless somebody is gone for the weekend or something.
The other island has 5 actives, but one is barely active and one is stingy on donations (he donates, but only enough to keep from feeling guilty )
Vlaad, are you raiding towns on your own island? I talked to one guy on my island, and we are going to start raiding the inactive "Polis" towns. I said we should give them a little more time because it would be better to have a strong island with good cooperation. Haven't heard back from him though.
What happens to inactive towns? Do they disappear, or can we take them or something?

No. What's the point? The inactive players might come back anytime. Plenty of level 1 towns on the neighbouring islands...Quote:

You could send the inactive players a message first ("Please chip in 50 wood within 72 hours, or else..." ).

How do i trade resources?
i cannot load my gold onto ships.
and also what is too much of a donations?

They haven't been threatened, but I sent every player a message asking for donations.
Before I raid, I need to build up wood first. I just realized that slingers need wood and I've used all my wood for upgrades.

I think you need a Trading Post... and someone to trade resources with, I guess. Quote:

When you give more than anybody else and you cannot develop your polis any further, because you needed those resources for yourself.

With a trading post you have a screen used to make offers, or hunt for offers.
You select what resource you are looking for and the radius to search. If anyone within range has the resource for sale, it will show up and give you the chance to make a trade.
At the bottom you can list anything you want to sell.

That's similar to my towns. If you have the extra workers for the upgrade, go for it. Also, the top donator keeps changing on my island. Sometimes it's me, sometimes someone else.
And start talking to those other donators.

I started a THIRD account I'm probably not supposed to do that and it gives problems, but I did it anyway. I wanted to try something different just out of curiosity.

Nah, because me and my classmates have a comp going I think. To see who can be the strongest. Currently I am, and some other guy is right behind me, although I have a much better base than him. He wants to start an alliance but he wants to be the alliance leader...oh dear...
