Right Desu is out of the post. But if you insist on detail (which I find is a good thing ) you'll come to find that we first make a dash for the ship, then Erster partially detonates himself flying off in the opposite direction the moment I ask you to take care of Tourville I assumed we both had almost made it to the ship (since we're above average in physic we should have covered a good ammount of the distance while the marines were in dissaray, don't you think?).
Erster+Marines -----distance----tourvile-----distance-----you and me---- ship. And then I soru to the dwarf. And while I know they always say what they do in the manga and anime I myself am not a big fan of "I USE SORU NOW!!!" so Anar is not whispering anything.
But please I really don't want to be nit-picking I just assume that you'd like to know due to your attention to detail . But it's all good Marines are taken care of and we'll be on the ship within a post.

Well, no matter, even if you don't whisper it, the sound that comes when you accelerate is enough for me to know "he did something" xP
Gonna edit it anyway. And about the distance, Mark is cabeable of throwing far and in complicated routes all right( )

I convinced BETA not to override SirDragon's post after all, but in return I would ask that the longboats don't complete close our way out in the short time it takes the others to get on board. It's very realistic for such small crews to maintain a longboat so efficiently anyway.

I guess a little explanation is in order while veco readies the guns.
I said the prototype ship is fast and maneuverable, but never explained its purpose. The ship was designed mainly for scouting missions and very quick travel from place to place. Hence it's abnormal speed. Since it isn't equipped for battle as well as other ships, it's also designed to avoid fights with more heavily armed ships, hence the high maneuverability and handy mechanical abilities like self-unfurling sails and smokescreen ammunition. Feel free to think up of more useful addition to the ship as long as they fit its original purpose.

Oi, oi Geny. Where the hell did those cannonballs that shot as us from? There were no cannons on the longboats, and Sir_Dragon is kinda protesting/laughing behind my back right now(I know him in RL) he also told me he ordered the boats to board us, not block our pathway.

And about logpose: Yes, I expected as much, but the thing I forgot to add in the islands description is: How long it takes for the logpose to set xD

Its a major nagigation ship, why would the marines want it to be crippled on the grand line?
I suggest this: On the ship there is 4-7 eternal poses(maybe even more, since the grand line spans the entire world/equator), each to great fixed locations. The instruments uses this data to determined the ships location, the use of this would actually be to be able to sail without using poses AND still avoiding the calm belt. It also got a compass, for being outside of the grand line.
I guess we also got a basic marine map(non-island locations coordinates, and other important stuff), which would make us able to go literally anywhere without the use of a normal pose.
What problems do we have? First of we are lacking a insane amount of islands from the basic map, some are actually not on the precise placed(a few coordinates off).
The other problem is that we likely lack a normal log pose, so unless we got a way to acquire one we will have to pick out a random island that is close to us. I guess we got the first islands of the grand line on the map, since its essential if we need to do a major pirate slaughtering(drop of a high rank on a island, and BOOM!).
An issue on the ships weaponry, special weapons designed to "cripple" other ships, and some sort of stealth gear(i call for a sonic sort of generator that specifically distort the air, so we become partially transparent on long range) along with a fog generator. It likely also got a fog breaker(as in get trough) of sorts, that is of the stealth design(not hearable by humans).

I really see no problem with us getting of the Island logpose or not. Geny is a freakin navigator and we're on an state of the art scouting ship I'm pretty sure that both John and the Ship are profiscient enough to get us out of the bay and on an Island. Sure, the Grand Line is suppose to be that untameable, unpredictable sea, etc. etc. but I highly doubt that our Ship-John Combo can't get us out of the bay. Everything else can be figured out once we're out of harms way, somewhere on sea. But since we're already talking about this again, I find it to be more than reasonable that John as a Navigators has both a Logpose, Eternal Logposes and that the Ship has some mechanisms in order to navigate without such "standard" equipment.
Now as to additional functions of our ship I thought some sort of Stealth Function would go great with the theme, I had a similar idea for camouflage as Dia but I thought I'd be way over the top so I thought that the boat could have retractable masts and could lower the ammount with which it's above the water (I have no idea how you call that sorry:S. You know when you have a ship it looks like this: "---\_____/---" and I thought we could submerge it so that we're just a tiny tiny bit above water and then have a sea-coloured plane that we could use to cover the upper part of the ship that's still visible). So if you see it from above it be a small sea coloured rectangle. Does that somewhat explain it?
