And on a different note: When I was still in school I visited the acting club for 2 years and when you improvise (which is basically everything we do here^^) there is something as the "principle of positivity". So when we were acting a scene and one would come up to me and say "You're under arrest!!" I'd have to go with what he said, because if I wouldn't I'd break the flow of the piece.
To avoid any missunderstanding this does not mean that you can do your own thing and everyone else has to accomodate your wishes, much like it's been done in the earlier pages, all I ment to say with this is that as long as someone doesn't mess with what makes your character your character or acts "unreal" (as in the conditions don't allow such behaviour) you should simply go with it instead of come along and go "oh but that's impossible" "No I don't want that" "it doesn't work like that you forgot, etc".

And with that I announce the end of the Jashka arc.
Now comes the time of a LOT of character interactions. Hope it won't slow us down.
As for the ship, a stealth field sound too advanced somehow (and maybe slightly "overpowered"). Azzie's idea is interesting, but while I can imagine a retractable mast, I can't for the life of me think of what would happen to the sails. Fog generation is something I've been thinking about myself, but I'm not sure how useful it would actually be, unless it has a pretty big radius.
I was also very tempted to use some kind of booster (similar to the one Sunny has), but couldn't find technological justification for it.

Well a ship mast looks like a "T" doesn't it? so can't the sails just turn 90°?

And I also had the idea that a Booster would go nicely with the theme of our ship but then I thought it'd be a bit unoriginal. But I guess that's not as big as an concern as implentic it technically? I'd taking a few artistic liberties since it is a marine prototype state of the art vessel so it wouldn't be that unreasonable if you ask me.

Ok, I guess retractable mast could work. And whether it's state of the art or no, I'd still prefer some kind of technological explanation. Cola powered is "taken". Jet dials? I'm not sure that even the marines have free access to that. What then?

How about a paddle connected to a gear system? The drawback would be that the ship needs to be moving while retracting the mast.
Drawbacks make it interesting .

And all those ideas sounded pretty cool, but I am not the one in charge of the boat
Personally I am just glad as long as it sails. Those fancy equipment are none needed if you ask me xP

Also, start thinking up names for our crew and our ship. You don't have to post them in the OOC though. We'll have a long talk in the IC anyway, so we can talk about it there right away. (our characters have to think up those names as well after all  )

Wuuuu . About the conversations, don't exspect me to do much my character isn't going to initiate any conversations. Maybe I'll open him up later but for now I want to give him a try as he is now.
And what about "Fortune Pirates"? It's mellow enough, we pretty much all meet each other due to good fortune and Fortune is pretty much one of the great variables in One Piece you can be as awesome as you want but you'll always need Lady Luck smiling at you favourably, no?

I need 1 post to get rid of Bixies fake clone(the guy in the brown sack) I already got the backstory of the character. And i need it to be night time, and we need to be off the deck(otherwise big hilarty will ensure). Or.... mvass can claim the character
Edit: This will be WAY later, postcount wise. The GM just needs to keep it on the back of his mind, so we don't get a several day long skip and i don't get the chance to get rid of the sack.

Suggestion to speed this section 1 small tad up: Lets agree on a time when we can meet online over a direct chat, and we talk like heck because we then do not have the post delay.
I am located in GTM+1, and i got the entire tomorrow and some part of today(its currently 19:00, and i got loads of time).

I'm mostly busy these days, so I can't really find a good time for me. But feel free to do it without me (you can slightly auto my char for that, just add friendly, drunken comments once in a while). Also, the thing I'm mostly waiting for right now is a post from a certain someone *nudges BETA* to put us all around the table. After that the short talk posts can begin.

Sorry, i just had to attempt to create some humor. But i still suspect he would eat with food in his mount. the normal food you describe sounds like its either consumed like chewgum or its consumed quickly, so your character is likely not used to the table manners we use Heck, the entire crew might have different table manners just for the lols of it. But we need to POST more, roawr

Well Anar was mostly eating vegetables and fish. Not that he's a vegetarian but it's simply be most efficient food. And yeah he'd usually eat with his hand but I'm pretty sure he knows what forks, spoons and knifes are for.

More talking about our Crews name!
I'm still in favour of Fortune Pirates but well there isn't much opposition right at the moment.
Here's a the Jolly Roger I had in mind for it. Looks horrible but I don#t have a scanner for the drawn original and well it's just so you get the idea.
