ICTC3: The Glacier

Aka: The people of the ice
Motto: "We dont worship ice, the ice worship us"
explore the world. At first he gone to the Silver Citys to learn abit about the wizards, but he left the Silver Citys 2 monthes after he arrive (he hated the heat). He explored the Griffin Empire and then stayed, because the human cared only about money and power his Elementalist rank wasn't so effective but because his most fevorate element was water he joined the navy.
One time he was sended to the Sea of Shadows with a pack of sailors to explore, As they came neer the ici regions of the sea-



Kel saw a lady on a frozen island, in the first moment the ice lady nothist him a stom begon. After his littel trip to the Sea of Shadows his opiniont changed abit about the "Peace and Knowledge", he became more agressive and joined battle when he needed, although his opiniont about "Peace and Knowledge" still existed (and of course he became like this because of the horrors he needed to fight when he sailed the sea of shadows, and the only reason he and the sailors stayed alive is because he was exallent in Elementalism and especially in water). After some time he decided to study the art of shadows of the Dark elves. When he returned to Irollan the elves did not accepted him in the collony, but there were few who trusted him because of his high ranking, Kel started his Magic school in the forest not far away from Irollan.

834-901 YSD: A start of a new race
Years pased peacefully but one day there was a fire in his school, no one could take the fire out not even Kel (it seems that the fire was demonic) Kel used all his power to stop the fire but it didn't help. He concentrated and then just when he thought everything is lost he not only freezed the fire but also the rest of the sorounding area. Then he remembered the time he saw that lady in the snow, as the school was ruined he declaimed that they must travel to the north. Pasing throue the Griffin Empire Kel met the sailors he was sailing with wich where now Knights and commanders, they joined him and gadered some more men and women of cours.



Half of the people died in the journey, some died from the hard blizzard and some from animal attacks like wolves and bears, when they arrived to the second island they saw a band of mercenarys, Kel had no choice but to hire them. They started a littel camp that evolved into a villige, Kel needed more fighting units because his soldiers coulden't survave in the cold harsh land, then he remembered when he was in the Silver Citys and learned how to create golems but there was no building meteriel around so made the golems out of ice but they were still too weak. Kel left the villige to explore the rest of the island, eventually he found a cave that was reach in crystals annd gems but then he saw that he woke up a Yeti As the island became more and more dangeures Kel ordered his people to leave the villige and and find another place to live. Kel used all of his powers to rise a huge glacier (seriouslly it was more huge then you can imagine) and he declaimed that this will be the official land and kingdom  of his people.



Kel noticet that there are snake like creatures trapt in some parts of the glaciar, he freed them and they joined him as elite troops (yep they were nagas) with theire help Kel tamed the Yetis and the Ice Dragons. One day a group of sailors set out to the sea of shadows, years later they came back and declaimed that they are the lost sailors and that they are the vikings.

951 YSD: 5th Eclipse - War of the Gray Alliance
Kel joines the war and leads his army out of the northen regions (the demons started attacking them too, because they had rare resoures in theire land.)
The Demon horde is finally defeated, but at a terrible cost for the Alliance, Kel died in battle.

Creatures:

1.Snow Spirit

A common creature to meet in the snowy land. For most people to think its a soul of a dead women wandering around the world, but for the truet it is an elemental creature made from the spirit of winter in the shape of a woman. Usualy they are harmles but when they get angry they do not a small amount of damage.

Abilities: Elemental, Flyer.

Dwelling: Snow Ruins.

Upgrade 1

Snow Lady

Like the snow spirit the snow lady is snowy spirit in the shape of a woman, only there are few differences. The chance of seeing a snow lady is more great then seeing a snow spirit (the snow ladys just love attention), they look more like a woman then the snow spirit and they have the ability to create ice bolts.

Abilities: Elemental, Flyer, Shooter, Frost Attack.

Frost Attack: Freezes the enemy.

Dwelling: Glacier Ruins.

Upgrade 2

Glacier Spirit

Unlike the snow spirit and the snow lady the glacier spirit can be only found in glaciers (it is a rare sight to see a glacier spirit outside a glacier). Their job is to protect the glacier from any intruders also they not just made from snow and the spirit of the winter, they are made of ice.

Abilities: Elemental, Flyer, Immune to Water, Frost Attack.

Dwelling: Glacier Ruins.

2.Ice Golem

At first they thought to bring wolves,bours and bears but in the end they decided to create theire own soldiers for the land itself. Although they were powerful units they were still made of ice and were easily defited.

Abilities: Elemental,Immune to Water.

Upgrade 1

Crystal Golem

Strong defense and strong attack but slow and expensive, it is not the best creature to fight with when the enemy using ranged units. However it is a very effective unit when you need to protect your castle.

Abilities: Elemental, armoured.

Dwelling: Mineral Workshop

Upgrade 2

Gem Golem

This creature's defense is really weak, so insted wasting time and mony on his defens after each battle the winner thakes what as left from the gem golem to his/her treasury.

Abilities: Elemental, Gem Giver.

Gem Giver: After each battel the winner takes the remains of the golem to his/her treasury (1 gem for 5 dead golems).

Dwelling: Mineral Workshop

3.Mercenary

Hired fighter, not exaclly the best soldier but still useful. Although he is almost unarmoured he still gives deadly blows with his powerful sword.

Abilities: Cleave.

Dwelling: House of the Worrior

Upgrade 1

Swordsman

A skilled warrior, two sword and two strikes. This is the master of the battle, no man lived after a fight with this warrior.

Abilities: Agility, War Dance Combo.

Upgrade 2

Slasher

A fight sistem that was developed by the Dwellers of the glacier, they were the most powerful warriors in the glaciar untill the others arived. This talent of fight was started by Kel even befor he created the great glacier.

Abilities: Swifth Sword.

Swifth Sword: Every time a creature with a lower initiavtive attacks this creature, this creature attacks befor him but gives no retaliatio.

4.Yeti

A beast that can be found only in the north of Ashan. A brutal monster, it feads on human flesh. It was tamed by Kel and his men when they arrived to the north, even though its a powerful monster it is hard to control it.

Abilities: Large Creature, Bash.

Upgrade 1

Snowman

As for the most to know the yeti is almost uncontrolobel beast, so Kel inveted the snowman. You probably think its a ball of snow with a carot nouse, but actually its a yeti that is half made of snow. As for kel and the other elementalists it is more easy to controll those beasts. But they are still vulnerab to fire.

Abilities: Large Creature, Shooter (+Frost Attack), Frost Attack, Aura of Fire Vulnerability.

Upgrade 2

Sasquatch

Less big and less fat and more fast then the yeti and the snowman. Usually a sasquatch is brown but not this one, sasquatches were so long in the snow they became white and unseen in the snowy land.

Abilities: Large Creature, Shooter (+bash), Bash, Battle Frenzy.

Dwelling: Yeti Cave

5.Viking

Learned from the dwarves by a group of sailors that gone exploring, and returned home to teach this battle technic. The way this warrior fights is very brutal but yet very effective.

Abilities: Brutal Fighter, Bravery, Enraged.

Brutal Fighter: Every time this creature attacks it has a chance to deal duble damage and to deliver another blow after the first one, if the creatures luck is high there is a slight chance to fright the target.

Dwelling: Hall of the Seas

Upgrade 1

Viking Commander

High ranked warriors in the army of the north. They will never give up a fight even if they know they cant win, they will always go forword to the battle giving hope to the others to win.

Abilities: Brutal Fighter, Aura of Bravery, Enraged.

Upgrade 2

Viking Lord

Unlike the other viking the viking lords are usually off the battle field protecting the castle. But they are also exallent leaders and give orders not less then the hero himself, because after every succesful battle they are usually the mind behind the mind that does the strategy.

Abilities: Commanding Presence, Armoured, Bravery.

Dwelling: Hall of the Oceans

6.Naga

Half human and half snake, intellegent but not the strongest. Those creatures are a result of wizard experement, they were usefull unrill the wizards nothiced that they are weak creatures and especially on the dry land so tryed to destroy them but the nagas ran away to the north.

Abilities: Large Creature, Caster, Water Master.

Water Master: Not only this creature is immuned to water spells, when a water spell hits this target the spell is backfired to one of the enemy units.

Spellbook: Ice Bolt (advenced), Power Wave (Basic, level 3 spell).

Power Wave: Shoots a wave of water in the size of 3 tiles, 10 damage for each creature in the wave tiles creature (includind the the creatures that were in the last line of the wave).

None: The wave hits only one line and does not countinius to more lines.
Basic: The wave countinius one line forvored.
Advanced: The wave countinius two lines forvored.
Expert: The wave countinius three lines forvored.




Dwelling: Naga Palace

Upgrade 1

Naga Cleric

Just as the normal naga this creature is weak but he is still exallent in spells, light,dark and summoning.

Abilities: Large Creature, Caster, Water Master.

Spellbook: Regeneration (Expert), Cleansing (Advanced), Sorrow (Basic), Decay (Advanced), Fist of Wrath (Basic).

Dwelling: Naga Castle

Upgrade 2

Naga Frost Guard

Unlike the other nagas this is a skilled warrior, years of training and hard work. Even though they are powerful they are slow and can hardlly survaive in the sun, so insted of sendind them to a death trap they were promouted to guards to protect the castle with theire long spears.

Abilities: Large Creature, Water Master, Hold Ground, Defensive Stance, Long Spear.

Long Spear: This creature can attack an enemy with one tile distance form him, but also if this creature attacks an enemy that is neer him he will also hit the target that standind behind the enemy.

Dwelling: Naga Castle

7.Blue Dragon

For once this creature desided on his free will to join Kel. It is giant beast with a freezing breath, frightning eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth.

Abilities: Large Creature, Flyer, Frost Breath, Frightful Aura.

Frost Breath: During attack, creature damages not only the target but any other unit positioned directly behind it, it also freezes the enemy.

Dwelling: Dragon Tower

Ice Dragon

Lives in the heart of the frozen realm. Although its made out of ice the ice dragon is ressistable almost to any kind of attack, they say its skin is so tough that even the fires of hell wont hurt or melt it.

Abilities: Large Creature, Flyer, Frost Breath, Frightful Aura, Elemental, Immune to Destruction.

Immune to Destruction: Destructive spells canot harm this creature.

Dwelling: Dragon Bastion

White Dragon

Unlike his the other northen dragons this dragon is unharmed by the heat or the cold.

Abilities: Large Creature, Flyer, Frost Breath, Frightful Aura,     Howl of the Winter.

Howl of the Winter: Once per battle this creature can summon and snow storm that only Glacier creatures can survave in, the storm lasts 10 turns and it deals 15 damage for every creature in the casters stack.

Village Hall: The Village Hall allows you to purchase town structures and earns your kingdom 500 gold per day.

Town Hall: An upgrade of the Village Hall.
The Town Hall allows you to purchase town structures and earns your kingdom 1000 gold per day.

City Hall: An upgrade of the Town Hall.
The City Hall allows you to purchase town structures and earns your kingdom 2000 gold per day.

The Capitol earns your kingdom 4000 gold per day.

Fort: The Fort provides your town with defensive walls.

Citadel: An upgrade of the Fort.
The Citadel increases base creature growth by 50%, adds a keep and moat-like terrain obstacles to a town's defenses.

Castle: An upgrade of the Citadel.
The Castle adds two arrow towers, fortifies your town's defenses, and doubles base creature growth.
Cost: 5000, 10, 10.

Tavern: The Tavern allows to recruit heroes. Increases morale of troops defending the city by +1.
Cost: 500, 5.

Marketplace: With the Marketplace you can exchange resources and sell artifacts (exchange rates decrease with each Marketplace you own).
Cost: 500, 5.
Requirements: Marketplace.

Resource Silo: An upgrade of the Marketplace.
The Resource Silo provides you with an additional +1 gem each day.
Cost: 5000, 5.

Blacksmith: The Blacksmith provides your armies with First Aid Tents. Other war machines can be bought on triple price.
Cost: 1000, 5.

Shipyard: The Shipyard allows you to purchase ships.
Cost: 2000, 20.

Magic Guild level one: Allows a visiting hero to learn the spells kept within. Keeps 3 spells of the first circle.

Magic Guild level two: An upgrade of the Magic Guild level one.
Allows a visiting hero to learn the spells kept within. Adds 3 spells of the second circle.

Requirements: Ice Workshop, Town Level 5.



Frozen Hall: Adds one water spell to the Magic Guild of any level.
Cost: 1500.
Requirements: Magic Guild level three, Town Level 7.

Frozen Throne: The Frozen Throne increase Naga, Naga Cleric and Naga Frost Guard production by +1 per week.
Cost: 4000, 10, 20.
Requirements: Naga Palace, Town Level 15.

The Gift of Shalassa: The Gift of Shalassa provides extra gold income (+5000 Gold per day), extra creature growth (+50%), the resource cost of Elementalism decreases by half.A Tear of Asha is required to build this structure.

The creature points cost depens on the creature level, if its an upgrade the cost is dubled.
Yes the points cost is low but the resource cost is very high and if its an upgrade the cost is dubled in the resource too.

Unholly Fire: Fire tipe elementals are immune to the Curse of the Netherworld spell. (Requires: Master of Fire, Master of Pain)

Beloved of the People: All Peasants, Conscripts and Brutes in hero's army gain +1 to their Attack and Defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level. Also, all Peasants, Conscripts and Brutes in hero's army earn another +1 gold piece in kingdom treasury every day, in addition to their Tax Payer ability.


Name: Akra
History: Fire and Ice are the main power of her. Frost and flame, she controls bouth, she was a powerful allia in the War of the Gray Alliance.

Name: Sarum
History: Sarum is one of the elders of the glacier, born befor Kel but he still does not posess a greater knowledge or power.
Skills: Basic Elementalism, Basic Enlightenment: Intelligence.
Hero's Special:
Anciens Ice: The hero is skilled with water magic and has the ability to freeze enemy units withouth casting any spells.
Spells: Summon Elemental, Ice Bolt.


Name: Darlon
History: A naga hero, he is the leader of the nagas and the master of magic, his spells are the most powerful in the realm even more then Kel's.
Skills: Basic Elementalism, Advanced Sorcery.
Hero's Special:
Spell Keeper: The hero can learn new spell from other heroes or from towns even by not reaching them or entring them.
Spells: Summon Elemental, Divine Strength, Eldritch Arrow.

Name: Jek
History: Jek is one of the pranksters in the kingdom, hard to belive but he was promouted into a hero because of a prank he did in the War of the Gray Alliance. He created an illusion on the demon army that was aproching the glacier, he created an illusion of the dragon god Shalassa and scared half of the demons.
Skills: Basic Elementalism, Basic Luck.
Hero's Special:
Master of Illusions: The hero can summon more then one stack in the Phantom Forces spell, every five levels he can summon another stack.
Spells: Summon Elemental, Phantom Forces.

Snow lady, huh?

That brings back some memories.
Here in Finland there's a tale about Snow lady or Snowqueen. It's usually told to kids when it is very cold.

She's the most beautiful sight in the world, so beautiful that looking at her will make your eyes dazzled like looking straight at the sun. But beware her gaze because everything she looks at will turn to ice as cold, beautiful and emotionless as the Queen of Winter herself.
She comes from a freezing continent in acrtic ocean somewhere in the nort-east. From there she travels using icy rivers, where haze rises from the black unfrozen gaps in the ice, as her roads. The fawning frost always moves ahead of her and winter winds escort her around. Where she moves the land becomes a glittering winter fairy tale.
An icy tingling can be heard as she spreads out her white glittering coat and swings her silvery hair gazing everything around her to ice. Soon everything will be covered in frost and ice, beautiful as the stars but if you dare to touch something you can feel the burning coldness of her heart.

The creatures you have so far:

1. Snow Spirit - Snow Lady | Glacier Spirit
2. Ice Golem - Crystal Golem | Gem Golem
3. Mercenary - Ninja | Samurai
4. Yeti - Snowman | Sasquatch
5. Viking - Viking Commander | Viking Lord

The names are pretty good, although you still have to explain how levels 3 and 5 are even related. I would change Snowman, since Yeti is a beast, not a man.
You have only one special ability that you invented. All the rest were taken from H5. Come on, be creative, and invent some abilities that will fit the creatures.

Still IMO you should change your mercenary - ninja - samurai line up...and snowman could be:
* wendigo or similar *


And u can add trolls, furbolgs, giants, worgs...(IMO would fit better to your theme)
Maybe think about new race/species like Vrykuls from wow

I really like the idea and I think this whole thing has a lot of potential but I don't think you are anywhere near where this could be if you'd had thougth things through a bit more(it seems a bit rushed to me sorry). Oh and the ninja/samurai thing does NOT fit.. doesn't matter how you look at it it's just not right. Come on Ninjas and Samurais are something asian/far eastish no argueing there I apreciate creativity and all but it's just wrong...I think you should do a bit of restucturing in your line up (Like the frost lady being tier 1 ?!?) but as I said I really like the idea and this has a lot of potential. Would be sad to see it go to waste in a rushed job though.

Anyways I like the Finel (is that final or is it the artists name?) version better.
