I will try it sometime but its damn overrated!.
My friend played it a lot when he had a WoW break and he plays it now too. For a while he asked a lot about the Warcraft lore... in DotA.
He: "Hey, whats about the Battle of Crystals where the rebells did something during the second war?"
Me: "Uhm... excuse me? This is not Star Wars. There are no rebellians. Maybe you meant when the Shadow Council and Stormreaver Clan betrayed the Horde and went to the Broken Isles? The Horde left then and were put in internemt camps. The books Lord of the Clans and some parts in Arthas: Rise of the Lich King describes the terrible things the humans did to the Orcs, but after all the Orcs had destroyed their world under the influence of the Burning Legion."
Him: "No, its about humans!!! Bla bla DotA fake-lore. What about the Morphling and Void Lord? What do they do???"
Me: "All Water Elementals are loyal to Neptulon, who is responsible for the total destruction of the ancient Gurubashi Empire. Void creatures can appear in many ways. A Naaru for example doesnt die, but goes in an endless cycle between Light and Shadow. When it "dies" it becomes one with the dark void and void creatures spawns from it. The Void also seems to be a cosmic faction."
Him: "So I guess no DotA lore is canon or made by Blizzard...
Me: "No, everything is fake... there were nobody that protested in the Second War except on Draenor of course."
Him: Xeroxkin, you're breaking my heart! Now I will go emo and suicide!"
Based on a true story. Although he didnt cut himself or suicide.

Time to vacume this Topic
I play on the Eurobattlenet. And to be honest, leavers and quiters are a pain, but now with shared banlist its easier, but what i hate are noobs on ap games (picks sniper, drow, luna) and ofc quits when he runs on Lothars Edge (imba noob item) and is beeing killed by Bloodseeker.
My personal Fav Heroes are: QoP, Magnus, and Necrolite. Oh and Nerubian Assasin is quite fancy mid game hero
Someone Earlier mentioned that TFT is better, well, frankly i think not, 4 unit +hero rush in an RTS?? Thanks but no Thanks.
Besides, i like to feel a litte Epic (3k hp or +120 dmg) sometime

TFT is different, not better.
The four units + hero battles.. I find that awesome. You know.. you can actually make a BIG difference with your skill. The ultimate difference.
Take 10000 units and your skill will not matter. You will see an epic newbfest with units dying before you react.
